The official global release date for AION 2 is October 5, 2026. The game follows a Free-to-Play (F2P) model at full launch, allowing all players to jump in without paying an entry fee.
However, players who pre-purchase any of the Founder’s Packs on Steam or PURPLE receive 5-Day Advance Access (Early Access) beginning on September 30, 2026.

Is AION 2 a multiplayer game?
Yes. AION 2 is a massive Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG). It features large-scale PvP faction wars, 200+ PvE dungeons (ranging from solo, 5-player party, and 10-player raids), and open-world events.
Is AION 2 coming to Xbox Game Pass?
No. There are currently no announcements or plans for AION 2 to join Xbox Game
Pass. Because the global release is Free-to-Play on PC via Steam and PURPLE, players can download and play it directly without needing any subscription service.
Does AION 2 support cross-platform play?
