Typhoeus is here, and apparently staying on the ground was simply not part of the plan. This 6-star Striker uses an Arts Unit and the Nature element, then spends her time hovering around and firing arrows like she has a personal grudge against every enemy on the map. Her kit focuses on Aerial Basic Attacks, Nature Infliction, Signs, Hunting Arrows, and Nature Burst DMG.
In this Typhoeus build guide, we will go through everything currently known about her skills and combat mechanics. We will also cover her Weapon, Potential, and team compositions. Some details are still unavailable because the information is based on the Version Preview, so those sections will be updated once the update releases and more information becomes available.
Typhoeus Overview
Typhoeus is a 6-star character in Arknights: Endfield. She belongs to the Striker class, wields an Arts Unit, and uses the Nature element.
Her gameplay revolves around entering a Hovering state and using enhanced Aerial Basic Attacks. These attacks can consume Nature Infliction stacks to generate Signs. Once she reaches the maximum number of Signs, her Combo Skill converts them into Hunting Arrows and creates a Barrage Array that deals continuous Nature DMG, applies Slow, and increases the Nature Burst DMG enemies receive.
Her Ultimate adds another aerial attack sequence. It deals massive AoE Nature DMG, puts Typhoeus into Hovering, and enhances her next five Aerial Basic Attacks with additional Hail of Arrows attacks.
Skills
Basic Attack
Wildlands Huntress
BASIC ATTACK:
An attack with up to 5 sequences that deals Nature DMG. As the controlled operator, Final Strike also deals 17 Stagger.
DIVE ATTACK:
Basic attack performed in mid-air becomes a dive attack that deals Nature DMG to nearby enemies.
FINISHER:
Basic attack performed near a Staggered enemy becomes a finisher that deals massive Nature DMG and recovers some SP.
Battle Skill
Piercing Arrows of the Woods
Typhoeus leaps into the air and enters a short Hovering state, during which she can unleash 5 Aerial Basic Attacks (ABATK). Each ABATK can shoot arrows at up to 2 targets and deal Nature DMG.
Whenever an ABATK hits an enemy with Nature Infliction, it consumes 1 stack of Nature Infliction, grants Typhoeus 1 Sign, and gives additional Ultimate Energy.
If Typhoeus has Hunting Arrows, she consumes 1 Hunting Arrow and converts the ABATK into a Power Shot.
Power Shot: After hitting an enemy, Power Shot forcibly applies 1 instance of Nature Burst; if the target's Nature Infliction is consumed, then increase the DMG dealt by this Nature Burst to 1.1 times the original.
If Typhoeus is the controlled operator, her 5th ABATK is regarded as a Final Strike and a Power Shot, and does not consume Hunting Arrows.
Combo Skill
Rampant Thorns
Transmutes all accumulated Signs to Hunting Arrows and resets her Aerial Basic Attack (ABATK) attempts.
Typhoeus focuses her "Huntress's Gaze" and launches a barrage at the target that creates a Barrage Array at the target area. Enemies in the Barrage Array take Nature DMG over time, are slowed, and suffer increased Nature Burst DMG Taken.
Every 2 Signs convert to 1 Hunting Arrow.
Trigger:
When Typhoeus reaches max Signs.
Ultimate
Call of Ice Mountain
Typhoeus fires an Imbued Arrow that explodes after hitting the enemy and deals massive Nature DMG to enemies within the area of effect (AOE). She then enters a Hovering state and her Aerial Basic Attack (ABATK) attempts are reset.
For her next 5 ABATKs, hitting an enemy triggers a Hail of Arrows that deals Nature DMG at the target's location. Her 5th Hail of Arrows is an empowered Hail of Arrows that deals higher DMG.
Casting the ultimate gives 2 Arrows immediately.

Prey Checklist |
Whenever a Nature Burst is triggered on an enemy, Typhoeus gains 1 Sign. DMG dealt by attacks empowered by consuming Arrows is increased to 1.2/1.4/1.6 times the original. When entering battle, Typhoeus immediately gains 1/2/4 Sign. Typhoeus can have up to 4 Arrows and 8 Signs. If Nature Burst is simultaneously triggered on multiple enemies, this only counts as one instance of Nature Burst when tallying the Signs gained by Typhoeus. |
|
Huntress's Focus |
When Hovering, Typhoeus activates a Protective Barrier that reduces her DMG Taken by 15/30% and makes her harder to interrupt while it is active. The Protective Barrier is shattered when Typhoeus takes DMG, and cannot be activated again for 30/18s afterwards. |
Best Weapons
Umbra of Frigid Eventide

Umbra of Frigid Eventide is Typhoeus's best weapon and the most natural fit for her kit. It provides Agility and ATK while also stacking multiple Arts-related bonuses, giving her strong scaling across both personal damage and team setups.
Its passive works particularly well with Typhoeus because her Power Shots can trigger Arts Bursts consistently. This lets her build up the weapon's bonuses during combat without requiring a major change to her normal rotation.
The main thing to manage is timing. Since some of the weapon's effects build over multiple Arts Burst triggers, using Typhoeus's Battle Skill too early can leave part of the weapon's value outside her main stagger window. Holding the skill slightly longer can produce a stronger burst when the timing is optimized.
Suffering's End

Suffering's End is the best alternative to Typhoeus's Signature weapon. It offers Agility, Arts Intensity, and additional Nature DMG support, while its stacking effect naturally benefits from Typhoeus's frequent Arts Burst triggers.
The weapon becomes more competitive in teams that already provide strong ATK buffs, since those buffs help compensate for some of its lower personal scaling compared with Umbra of Frigid Eventide.
Its main drawback is that its strongest effect takes time to build and has a relatively short duration. As a result, rotation timing matters even more when trying to line up its bonuses with Typhoeus's stagger damage.
Detonation Unit

Detonation Unit is a usable alternative if neither of the two preferred weapons is available. Its Main Attribute and Arts Intensity are both useful for Typhoeus, and her frequent Arts Burst triggers allow her to take advantage of its passive effect.
However, its overall performance is noticeably lower than Suffering's End. It is therefore better treated as an existing-weapon option rather than something worth specifically prioritizing for Typhoeus.
Weapon Priority: Umbra of Frigid Eventide > Suffering's End > Detonation Unit
Best Gear
Deep Rampart Set

Deep Rampart is the best gear set for Typhoeus. Its stats are closely aligned with her damage profile, with Arts Intensity playing a particularly important role in improving the damage of her Arts Bursts.

The set bonus adds further Arts-focused damage, giving Typhoeus a strong combination of offensive stats instead of relying on a single multiplier. This makes the full set the preferred option for maximizing her damage.
The main consideration is the duration of its bonuses. Since some of the set's value needs to build up and its effects do not last for an especially long period, the bonuses may not always carry perfectly into every stagger window. Even so, the set's overall value is high enough that it remains her best choice.
Best Team Comps
Typhoeus benefits most from teammates who can strengthen her damage output and help her get more value from her Power Shots and Arts Burst triggers. She also appreciates teams that can maintain their support effects long enough for her main damage windows.
The teams below are presented as strong options rather than a strict ranking. Each composition approaches Typhoeus's damage setup a little differently.
Team 1
|
Typhoeus + Perlica + Arcane + Liino |
|||
|
Typhoeus |
Perlica |
Arcane |
Liino |
This is a strong all-around composition built around improving Typhoeus's offensive potential. Liino is especially useful here because her ATK support complements Typhoeus's existing Arts-focused scaling.
Perlica and Arcane add further team utility, allowing Typhoeus to spend more of the rotation focused on preparing and executing her own damage. The composition also gives her a good balance between personal damage support and overall team functionality.
Team 2
|
Typhoeus + Ardelia + Arcane + Liino |
|||
|
Typhoeus |
Ardelia |
Arcane |
Liino |
Ardelia provides an alternative support option while keeping the strong Arcane and Liino core. This makes the team particularly useful for players who want to build Typhoeus around consistent team buffs rather than relying entirely on her own kit.
Liino's ATK support remains valuable, while Arcane and Ardelia help round out the team's utility. The result is a flexible composition that can support Typhoeus through longer rotations and her larger damage windows.
Team 3
|
Typhoeus + Perlica + Gilberta + Liino |
|||
|
Typhoeus |
Perlica |
Gilberta |
Liino |
This version replaces Arcane with Gilberta while retaining Perlica and Liino. The composition continues to give Typhoeus strong offensive support without requiring the exact same team structure as the first option.
Perlica and Gilberta provide useful supporting effects around Typhoeus, while Liino continues to improve the team's offensive output. It is a good alternative for players who have Gilberta available and want another way to build around Typhoeus's damage cycle.
Team Building Tips
When building around Typhoeus, prioritize teammates that improve her offensive scaling or help her reach her important damage windows more consistently. Since her damage can benefit from setup before her major burst periods, a team that supports a coordinated rotation will generally perform better than one that simply stacks independent damage dealers.
Conclusion
Typhoeus already looks like the kind of character who refuses to stay on the ground for more than five seconds. She enters Hovering, fires Aerial Basic Attacks, collects Signs, converts them into Hunting Arrows, and then throws even more arrows at the enemy. If nothing else, the local wildlife is having a very bad day.
For now, the confirmed Typhoeus information mainly covers her core combat mechanics. Her Weapon, Potential recommendations, team compositions, and exact leveling priority still need more information. Once the update releases, these sections can be expanded with more detailed build recommendations.
