Mi Fu Overview

endfield mifu

Rarity: 6-star | Class: Guard | Weapon: Great Sword | Element: Physical

Pros:

  • Top-Tier Burst Damage and Unique Skill Mechanics: Mi Fu's core gameplay revolves around consuming Vulnerability stacks on enemies to unleash high-multiplier Crush damage. Her Battle Skill has three stages. As long as the second stage consumes 3 or more Vulnerability stacks, it unlocks a third stage that deals massive damage, which counts as Crush type but doesn't consume additional stacks. This "consume buffs for burst" mechanic allows her to reach an extremely high damage ceiling in a short window.
  • Exceptional AoE Crowd Control: Despite being a Guard, her first Battle Skill can pull a large group of lighter enemies directly in front of her. For Physical teams, this solves the pain point of limited debuff application range, letting Vulnerability effects be concentrated on monster packs far more efficiently.
  • Built-in Physical Susceptibility and Smooth Combat Flow: Mi Fu's Combo Skill triggers when an enemy reaches 3 Vulnerability stacks. It not only deals damage but also applies Physical Susceptibility, directly amplifying her subsequent burst. Additionally, her talent provides a shield and increased interruption resistance, making her much more stable and comfortable when fighting at point-blank range.
  • Ultra-Low-Cost Skill Rotation: Unlike most characters, each stage of Mi Fu's Battle Skill only consumes 50 SP. This makes her skill flow extremely flexible, allowing her to execute her combo frequently without relying heavily on energy regeneration supports.

Cons:

  • High Dependency on Specific Teammates: Mi Fu's burst is entirely built on consuming Vulnerability stacks. Her own ability to generate them is limited, making her extremely reliant on teammates who can apply Vulnerability quickly and consistently, like Chen Qianyu. Without proper setup from these supports, Mi Fu's damage output will drop significantly.
  • Combo Restrictions and Execution Requirements: Although both her Combo Skill and Ultimate allow her to skip the first Battle Skill and start her burst directly from the second stage, her Combo Skill has a cooldown of roughly 20 seconds. Players need to plan their skill sequencing; otherwise, the rotation can feel slightly clunky during the downtime. It requires a bit of practice for those seeking a completely braindead playstyle.
  • Competition with Similar Roles: As a Physical Crush damage dealer, her role heavily overlaps with the Endministrator and Da Pan. Her arrival will likely impact the pick rates of these two characters in the main Physical DPS slot.

Core Damage Mechanic

Mi Fu’s entire damage output relies on Crush damage, which cannot crit under any circumstance. She only possesses a base 5% critical rate, making crit stats completely ineffective on her. Her damage amplification priority follows a fixed order: Crush Damage Bonus > Physical Damage Bonus > Physical Susceptibility > Enemy Physical Damage Taken > ATK > Arts Intensity. Arts Intensity is a core hidden attribute for Mi Fu, as it enhances not only Crush damage but also the potency of Physical Susceptibility, Lift, Knockdown, and Stagger damage. Additionally, Rossi’s Razor Claw Mark provides an independent enemy physical damage taken debuff that stacks separately with Physical Susceptibility, greatly boosting the overall physical team’s burst potential.

Skill Breakdown

Arknights Endfield Mi Fu Build

The core of Mi Fu's kit revolves around a rotation of "Trigger Combo at 3 Vulnerability Stacks → Follow up with Battle Skill Stages 2 and 3 for burst".

Basic Attack - Fistmancer of Blades:

A 4-hit sequence blending greatsword slashes with fist strikes. The animations are wide and powerful, with the final hit dealing high damage. Compared to other greatsword users, her attack speed is relatively fast and her handling doesn't feel sluggish.

Her basic attack sequence has a relatively long animation cycle with low overall damage contribution. Mi Fu does not require prolonged on-field basic attacking in actual combat. She is designed as a burst-focused quick-swap DPS that deals the majority of her damage through skill combos.

Battle Skill - Qingbo Triplex (Core Damage):

Can be cast three times consecutively.

Stage 1: Unleashes a pulling force forward, gathering enemies in range directly in front of her. If the target is a large enemy that cannot be pulled, Mi Fu will instead pull herself towards them. This is a flexible skill for both crowd control and gap-closing.endfield mifu skill

Stage 2: A rapid series of punches, with the final strike inflicting Crush. If this stage consumes 3 or more Vulnerability stacks, it unlocks the third Battle Skill stage.

Stage 3 - World Splitter: After a short charge, Mi Fu delivers a devastating punch that deals a massive instance of damage counted as a Crush-type attack. This damage does not consume Vulnerability stacks but benefits from stats like Arts Intensity that boost Crush damage.endfield mifu skill

The Stage 1 pulling effect has a small hitbox and limited AoE capability, performing poorly against large groups of light enemies. Its practical value is mainly limited to closing distance against elite or large-sized mobs. Players can skip Stage 1 entirely via Combo Skill or Ultimate to save SP. A full 1-2-3 skill rotation costs 150 SP, while skipping Stage 1 only costs 100 SP, significantly improving rotation efficiency. Notably, Stage 2 can apply 1 stack of Vulnerability to targets with zero existing Vulnerability stacks, which compensates for insufficient stack generation from supports. Moreover, Stage 3 World Splitter gains an additional 20% damage multiplier when striking targets afflicted with Physical Susceptibility.

Combo Skill - Fists of No Regrets (Key Activator):

Triggers when any enemy on the field reaches ≥3 Vulnerability stacks. Mi Fu performs a rising uppercut, dealing damage and applying Physical Susceptibility to the target. After activation, her next Battle Skill is directly replaced with Stage 2, eliminating the need to pull enemies again.endfield mifu skill

Ultimate - Pile of No Mercy:

Mi Fu charges forward, forcibly launching all enemies in front of her into the air and applying 1 stack of Vulnerability, then slams the ground for AoE Physical damage. Besides supplementing Vulnerability stacks, this skill also deals significant Stagger damage. After casting, her next Battle Skill is also directly replaced with Stage 2.

The Ultimate itself deals negligible damage and cannot trigger critical hits. Its core functions are supplementary Vulnerability stack application and directly unlocking Battle Skill Stage 2, serving purely as a functional rotational skill rather than a damage source.

Skill Upgrade Priority:

Battle Skill > Ultimate = Combo Skill > Basic Attack

Interrupting the animation of Stage 3 World Splitter by casting other skills or Ultimate will completely cancel all damage of this strike. Players must wait for the entire Stage 3 animation to finish before continuing the rotation.

Weapon Recommendations

Best-in-Slot:

 Amaranthine Tassel

Amaranthine Tassel (Signature Weapon): Custom-built for Mi Fu, this 6-star greatsword features main stats of Strength, Attack, and a specialized Combative stat. Its passive provides multiple layers of damage amplification buffs when Mi Fu uses her Combo or Battle Skills, perfectly matching her combo-centric playstyle.

Best F2P Option:

Phantom Pain

Phantom Pain (Battle Pass Weapon): The stats on this weapon are incredibly synergistic with Mi Fu. It provides Strength, Arts Intensity (directly boosting her Stage 2 and 3 Crush damage), and Suppression effects, making it an excellent choice without her signature weapon.

Solid Alternative:

Exemplar:

Exemplar: A versatile 6-star weapon. It offers high base ATK, an ATK% boost, and a passive Physical DMG Bonus that can further stack when using Battle Skills or Ultimates, effectively raising Mi Fu's overall damage.

Amaranthine Tassel provides 25.6% permanent Physical Damage Bonus, additional Arts Intensity upon Combo Skill activation, and stacking physical damage buffs based on Vulnerability stacks, covering all of Mi Fu’s core damage multipliers. Exemplar at Refinement 1 reaches approximately 90% performance of the signature weapon with extremely easy trigger conditions, ranking as the top F2P choice. Phantom Pain’s Arts Intensity stat is significantly undervalued; at max refinement, it substantially boosts Crush, Stagger, and Lift damage, offering superior practical benefits compared to pure ATK percentage weapons.

Gear Recommendations

Best Set:

Swordmancer Gear Pack

The undisputed best gear for Mi Fu is the new Swordmancer 3-piece set released alongside her. Its set effects are:

3-Piece Bonus: Grants +20% Stagger Efficiency. Additionally, when the wearer inflicts a Physical Status on an enemy, it deals an extra instance of 250% ATK Physical DMG and 10 Stagger (15-second cooldown). This perfectly complements Mi Fu's frequent Crush triggers.

Players can adjust gear sub stats and pieces according to combat scenarios. For short-burst boss execution scenarios, full Swordmancer 3-piece set with pure Physical Damage Bonus sub stats maximizes instant burst output. For long-duration high-pressure battles, replace one set piece with 16% Ultimate Gain Efficiency to accelerate Ultimate cycle and avoid output downtime in prolonged fights.

Mi FuTeam Composition

Pure Physical Burst Team:

Mi Fu + Chen Qianyu + Pogranichnik + Lifeng/Ember

endfield Chen Qianyu

endfield Pogranichnik

Lifeng endfield Ember endfield

This is the most straightforward yet highly effective team. Chen Qianyu is Mi Fu's absolute core partner; her Battle Skill and Combo Skill can quickly stack Vulnerability, creating the perfect setup for Mi Fu's burst window. Pogranichnik provides critical rate and Physical DMG buffs, while Lifeng serves as one of the core supports for Physical teams. If survival pressure becomes too high, Lifeng can be swapped for Ember, who provides team-wide shields and crowd control to secure a safe DPS environment.

F2P Friendly Team

Mi Fu + Chen Qianyu + Alesh + Estella

endfield Mi Fu endfield Chen Qianyu

Alesh

Estella

This low-investment team relies on Alesh’s solidification mechanism and Estella’s high-frequency Vulnerability stacking and Physical Susceptibility application. It provides a stable and accessible damage setup without high-rarity requirements, suitable for early and mid-game content clearing.

Standard Stable Physical Team

Mi Fu + Chen Qianyu + Lifeng + Pogranichnik

endfield Mi Fu endfield Chen Qianyu

Lifeng

endfield Pogranichnik

Lifeng provides more consistent Vulnerability stacking and team damage amplification, lowering overall operation difficulty and stabilizing the burst rotation, enabling reliable fast clear speeds in conventional combat content.

Hybrid Reaction Quickswap Team (New V1.3 Playstyle):

Mi Fu + Rossi + Camille + Flex Slot

endfield Mi Fu

endfield Rossi

endfield Camille

This is a high-ceiling elemental reaction team and one of the most anticipated comps of Version 1.3. The core revolves around Rossi, who can simultaneously consume Heat Infliction and generate Vulnerability stacks, perfectly linking Mi Fu and Camille together.

Conclusion

In conclusion, Mi Fu is a top-tier Physical hyper-DPS with a self-contained, high-burst kit, albeit relatively reliant on a dedicated team setup. If you have already invested in a Physical system built around Chen Qianyu, or are interested in the Rossi hybrid reaction team, then Mi Fu is absolutely a core character worth your resources. A good team composition can double your progression efficiency, but a safe and affordable resource reserve is the greatest safety net for securing your desired character.
