Deep Dive: October, November & December Banners

Two banners shape the next stretch of Arknights Global. October brings the Episode 17 Celebration event, which is already live, and November follows with the second Monster Hunter crossover. One needs a decision this month, the other is worth saving for.

October 14: [Celebration] Limited Banner “Sealed With Time”

Critical Phase Transition is the Episode 17 release event and the eleventh Celebration event. It runs from October 14 to October 28, 2026 on Global, after CN ran it in May as its 7th anniversary. The window is already open, so this is the banner to settle first.

Limited 6★ Operator

Arknights Kal'tsit Esperanta

Kal’tsit Esperanta (Watchman Medic)

A ranged 6★ Watchman Medic. After deployment her life restoration unit lifts off and she takes off with it, gaining extra block and a wider block range. Her E2 talent gives allies a shield when they enter her range, plus a 30-second regeneration buff that heals Rhodes Island operators for double. She can also heal Mon3tr, which normally only the original Kal’tsit can do.

Pulling Advice: Worth pulling if your roster leans on Rhodes Island operators, since the doubled healing is her main draw. The entry shield and regeneration give her a job beyond plain healing. You can claim her for free after 300 pulls on this banner, and she returns to the limited pool at the 2027 Celebration, so skipping her now is not permanent.

Limited 6★ Operator

Arknights Closure

Closure

A ranged 6★ Tactician Vanguard who calls a Command Center to a Tactical Point as reinforcements. Her ATK rises to 150% against enemies those reinforcements block. At E2 her talent lowers the squad’s DP lower limit and gives Rhodes Island operators +4% ATK while she is on the team.

Pulling Advice: Worth considering for DP-focused and Rhodes Island teams. Her squad-wide effect works from the team slot, and she is listed under standard headhunting, so there is no deadline pressure.

Additional Banner Details:

Sealed With Time adds Exusiai the New Covenant to the Celebration limited pool and removes Virtuosa from the secondary rate-up slots. You get one free pull a day on this banner, but it does not carry over. Specter the Unchained also drops to 200 Headhunting Data Contracts in the store.

Mid-November: [Crossover] Limited Banner “Hunters of the Umbral Wilds”

The second Monster Hunter crossover arrives with the Side Story Thunder in the Azure Dream. The Wiki lists the Global run as November 16 to November 30, but the page says Global has not announced it yet, so treat the dates as expected.

Limited 6★ Operator

Violet Mizutsune Orchid

Violet Mizutsune Orchid (Heavyshooter Sniper)

A ranged 6★ Heavyshooter Sniper with the DPS and Fast-Redeploy tags, based on the Violet Mizutsune armor from Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak. Her Power Coating Expert talent boosts the ATK of her next 50 attacks after her first skill use on each deployment. Wirebug Maneuvers cuts redeployment time by 15 seconds, lets her stand on melee tiles, and at E2 stops her DP cost from rising on redeploy. It also gives an ATK bonus when she is deployed near her previous position.

Pulling Advice: Worth saving for if you like Snipers that can reposition mid-stage. Free redeployment and melee-tile placement should help on maps where the situation changes during a fight. Her skills only have unofficial names and no confirmed effects yet, so wait for the Global details before committing your pulls.

Additional Banner Details:

This crossover banner has a 120-pull guarantee for the limited 6★ that repeats and resets whenever the limited 6★ appears. If no rate-up 5★ shows up in your first 50 pulls, the next 5★ is guaranteed to be a rate-up one. You can also claim one free Song of the Bow, Leap to the Sky Headhunting Permit while the banner is up.

December: The Black Flow of the Drowning Seekers

December brings Aphrissa, a Columbian Blast Caster who debuted on CN in the event Bolívar Diagnosed. After a crossover in November, this is a calmer month where you can recover pulls and look at a more technical Caster.

Limited 6★ Operator

Arknights Aphrissa

Aphrissa (Blast Caster)

A ranged 6★ Blast Caster with the AoE and DPS tags, whose attacks deal Arts damage in a long line. Her Link Protocol talent lets her deploy a “Repeater” that changes her attack direction and extends her range by 2. At E2 it lasts 25 seconds and raises her ATK by 25% while it is out. Her E2 talent, Sampling Optimization, ignores 10 RES for units in her attack range, or 13 with Potential 6. She costs 31 DP at base, rising to 34 after E1, and attacks every 2.9 seconds, with an E2 max-level ATK of 876. Players who remember Lorenz, Turbulent Fallacy, the final boss of The Black Flow of the Drowning Seekers, will recognize her too.

Pulling Advice: Worth considering if you like Casters that reward careful placement. The Repeater lets you reshape her range around a map, and ignoring RES helps against targets with high Arts resistance. The high DP cost and slow attack interval mean she needs room in your deployment plan, so she suits stages where you can set her up early. Her skills (Continuous Mapping, Critical Burst and The Essence of Chaos) only have unofficial names and no confirmed effects yet, so wait for the Global details before you commit.

Additional Banner Details:

The Wiki lists Aphrissa under standard headhunting on CN. Her Global banner type, rate-up lineup and dates haven’t been confirmed, so check the official announcement before you plan your pulls.

Summary & Resource Planning

1. Stop pulling and save.
Unless there’s an absolute favorite operator you can’t live without, stop spending resources on any current or upcoming non‑limited banners. Aphrissa in December is worth a look, but compared to Kal’tsit Esperanta in October and the crossover in November, her priority can be lower.

2. Go all in for October.
From now until October 28, you have about 12 days. Kal’tsit Esperanta is worth keeping a spark ready for if your roster leans on Rhodes Island operators. If your resources are tight, consider skipping Closure and Aphrissa to go all in on the Sealed With Time banner. She returns to the limited pool at the 2027 Celebration, so you can also skip her and save for the crossover.

3. Plan your spark and subsequent pulls.
Sealed With Time lets you claim Kal’tsit Esperanta for free after 300 pulls, and you get one free pull every day that doesn’t carry over. If your resources are abundant, push all the way to 300. Specter the Unchained is also down to 200 Headhunting Data Contracts in the store. If resources are tight, stop early and keep the rest for November. Aphrissa in December has an interesting kit but isn’t essential, decide based on your remaining resources.

4. Reserve for the collab.
With the second Monster Hunter collab coming in mid-November, if you don’t want to miss the crossover limited operator, start saving 120 pulls worth of resources for that banner now, since Sealed With Time ends on October 28. The 120-pull guarantee on this banner is repeatable, and you can claim one free permit.

Final Thoughts

With Kal’tsit Esperanta’s limited banner closing on October 28 and Violet Mizutsune Orchid arriving with the Monster Hunter crossover, the next two months are critical for resource management. Plan your pulls wisely, prioritize the October limited banner if you can, and keep an eye on your orundum reserves for the Monster Hunter collab in mid-November.
