Hey Travelers!
After the launch of Genshin Impact V6.0, the Dendro catalyst character Lauma has quickly become the new core of the Lunar-Bloom reaction teams. Many players pulled for her right away but found themselves puzzled when staring at their weapon inventory: Is her signature weapon really worth pulling? Are there any 4-star substitutes? How big is the difference at the same refinement level? This article brings together 7 mainstream weapons for a practical comparison using the same artifact set, providing the most intuitive expected damage and gameplay feel differences, so you can see at a glance where you should spend your Primogems! Let's go~!

Lauma Overview
Rarity: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Element: Dendro | Weapon: Catalyst
- Role: Off-field Dendro Application, Reaction Amplifier, Debuffer
- Signature Reaction: Lunar-Bloom Reaction (Dendro + Hydro)
Key Mechanics
Lunar Bloom: This new reaction doesn't replace Bloom but enhances it. It generates "Dewdrops" (likely a new resource for further mechanics or damage) and deals increased damage compared to a standard Bloom reaction.
Dendro Application: Her Elemental Skill or Burst, the "Frostgrove Sanctuary," provides persistent Dendro application from off-field. This is crucial for driving reactions.
Resistance Shred: The Frostgrove Sanctuary also reduces enemy Dendro and Hydro RES by 10%. This is a universal damage boost for all Dendro and Hydro damage in the team, including the Bloom reactions themselves.
Critical Bloom Buffs: Her unique talent allows Bloom, Hyperbloom, and Burgeon reactions to critically hit, providing them with extra CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG. This is a monumental change, as transformative reactions normally cannot crit.
Signature Weapon
Nightweaver's Looking Glass
Base ATK: 542 | Elemental Mastery: +265
- When the equipping character's Elemental Skill deals Hydro or Dendro DMG, they will gain Prayer of the Far North: Elemental Mastery is increased by 60 / 75 / 90 / 105 / 120 for 4.5s.
- When nearby party members trigger Lunar-Bloom reactions, the equipping character gains New Moon Verse: Elemental Mastery is increased by 60 / 75 / 90 / 105 / 120 for 10s.
- When both Prayer of the Far North and New Moon Verse are in effect, all nearby party members' Bloom DMG is increased by 120% / 150% / 180% / 210% / 240%, their Hyperbloom and Burgeon DMG is increased by 80% / 100% / 120% / 140% / 160%, and their Lunar-Bloom DMG is increased by 40% / 50% / 60% / 70% / 80%. This effect cannot stack.

Flat DMG Bonus (to all party members): • Bloom/Hyperbloom/Burgeon DMG: +6404 • Lunar Bloom DMG: +5124 |
In addition, the weapon itself provides a 120% bonus to Bloom damage, an 80% bonus to Hyperbloom/Burgeon damage, and a 40% bonus to Lunar Bloom damage for the entire party. However, these bonuses belong to the same multiplier category as Elemental Mastery damage bonuses and are subject to diminishing returns, making them difficult to quantify directly.
(Note: This support effect is affected by enemy resistance.)
As for output capability, there's no need for further comparison! The formula for the Lunar Bloom reaction has been adjusted, and Lauma's direct damage multiplier for Lunar Bloom has also been changed. Lauma's output capability has been significantly reduced!
In the initial version, Lauma's long-press Elemental Skill could deal around 240,000 Lunar Bloom damage, but in the current version, it only deals about 50,000. As for the off-field damage from her Elemental Skill, it goes without saying! Additionally, Lauma also needs to build some Energy Recharge in her stats, making it challenging to balance both support and damage roles.

Pulling Recommendations
- For players with ample Primogems planning to specialize in Dendro teams: Pull directly for the signature weapon. A rerun may take half a year.
- For F2P players: If you obtain A Thousand Floating Dreams, it can be considered her best-in-slot. Alternatively, Blackmarrow Lantern or Sacrificial Fragments at R3 or higher can also perform well.
Conclusion
The signature weapon Nightweaver's Looking Glass remains the peak in both numerical value and mechanics but is not irreplaceable—A Thousand Floating Dreams and a highly refined Sacrificial Fragments can keep the damage gap within around 20%.
If you’ve already saved Primogems for the new character in V6.1, 4-star weapons will be more than enough for Lauma to dominate the Spiral Abyss. However, if you’re pursuing the ultimate Bloom numbers and team performance ceiling, the signature weapon is still worth pulling as the "final upgrade."
Wishing everyone the best of luck—may your 80/80s always win!
