What we have
Archer Overview
Rarity: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Path: The Hunt Type: Quantum
Archer is a 5★ character from the Quantum element who follows the Path of Hunt. He is not just some average Skill tapper, but a Skill Point burning machine. He's designed for high aggression.
Archer's style is all about using skills non-stop, and his damage gets stronger with high ATK and Crit DMG. If you've played similar characters before, he'll feel familiar, but be ready—he needs a lot of Skill Points to work well. He does best with teammates who either help gain Skill Points or don't use much themselves.
Trace&Skills Priority
If you want to get the most out of Archer, upgrading his traces in the right order is super important. Based on how his Ultimate and skills work, here's the best way to level up his traces:
- Skill– Archer’s Skill is his main way of dealing damage and you'll be using it almost every turn, since his playstyle relies heavily on Skill Points. Upgrading his Skill boosts its damage a lot, which means more damage every turn. Because he’s made to be super aggressive and burns through Skill Points fast, his Skill likely has a strong effect or big damage to make it worth the cost — so it’s best to max this first.
- Ultimate– Archer’s Ultimate is a strong burst move that hits hard. Upgrading it boosts the damage of that big hit, making it his strongest single attack. You’ll want to level up his Ultimate along with his Skill — both should get to level 10 eventually. Early on, it’s a good idea to level them up one after the other to keep them balanced, since both are key to his overall damage.
- Talent– Archer’s Talent is a passive that gives him extra effects in battle, like follow-up attacks and some Skill Point recovery. The damage boost from leveling it isn’t always direct, but it’s still super important because the follow-up attacks are a big part of his playstyle. After you’ve leveled his Skill and Ultimate, you should definitely work on his Talent. Getting it to level 8–10 will give a nice bump to his overall DPS.
- Basic Attack–In a perfect setup, Archer will almost never use his Basic Attack — only when you completely run out of Skill Points. His whole kit and team are meant to feed Skill Points into his Skill, so Basic Attack is more of a backup. That’s why it’s okay to leave it at a low level at first. You can level it later if you have extra resources, just to make those rare no-SP turns a bit better. But don’t prioritize it — it adds the least to his overall damage compared to his Skill, Ultimate, and Talent.
Priority:
Skill>Ultimate>Talent>Basic Attack

Archer Relics, Ornaments & Stats
Relic Sets
- Best Choice
|
Genius of Brilliant Stars 2-Piece Bonus:Increases Quantum DMG by 10%. 4-Piece Bonus: When the wearer deals DMG to the target enemy, ignores 10% DEF. If the target enemy has Quantum Weakness, the wearer additionally ignores 10% DEF. |
Since Archer deals pure Quantum damage, this relic set gives him a big damage boost, especially when fighting enemies weak to Quantum — which you’ll see a lot in endgame content. The DEF ignore helps him hit even harder in single-target fights. This is the same set Seele uses for top-tier Quantum DPS, so it’s a great fit for Archer too.
- Alternatives
|
Scholar Lost in Erudition 2-Piece Bonus:Increases CRIT Rate by 8%. 4-Piece Bonus:Increases DMG dealt by Skill and Ultimate by 20%. After using Ultimate, additionally increases the DMG dealt by the next Skill by 25%. |
Some relic sets boost Crit Rate and increase Skill and Ultimate damage. For example, the Scholar Lost in Erudition set is a strong second choice because it gives Crit Rate and makes your Skill and Ultimate hit harder. Since Archer uses his Skill a lot, this set can work almost as well as Brilliant Stars.
However, until you have a full set, you can temporarily mix 2-piece sets:
Mix 2-piece Sets (Flex) |
|
|
Genius of Brilliant Stars 2-Piece Bonus: Increases Quantum DMG by 10%. |
|
Musketeer of Wild Wheat 2-Piece Bonus: Increases ATK by 12%. |
This combo gives +10% Quantum DMG and +12% ATK, a decent early setup before you farm the 4pc Genius set.
Ornaments
- Best choice
|
Rutilant Arena 2-Piece Bonus: Increases the wearer's CRIT Rate by 8%. When the wearer's current CRIT Rate reaches 70% or higher, DMG dealt by Basic ATK and Skill increases by 20%. |
If you can get Archer’s Crit Rate to around 70% or more, this ornament will really boost his sustained damage. You can reach high Crit Rate with good substats, the right Light Cone, and maybe some team buffs.
- Alternatives
|
Space Sealing Station 2-Piece Bonus: Increases the wearer's ATK by 12%. When the wearer's SPD reaches 120 or higher, the wearer's ATK increases by an extra 12%. |
This boost is reliable and easy to get because reaching 120 SPD is doable with good boots and some small buffs. It’s a solid option that increases damage without needing tough conditions.
|
Inert Salsotto 2-Piece Bonus: Increases the wearer's CRIT Rate by 8%. When the wearer's current CRIT Rate reaches 50% or higher, the DMG dealt by the wearer's Ultimate and Follow-up ATK increases by 15%. |
This makes Archer’s Ultimate hit stronger. Archer’s Ultimate puts him in a powered-up state and triggers follow-up attacks. Salsotto is helpful, but usually Rutilant’s Skill buff has a bigger impact overall.
|
Celestial Differentiator 2-Piece Bonus: Increases the wearer's CRIT DMG by 16%. When the wearer's current CRIT DMG reaches 120% or higher, after entering battle, the wearer's CRIT Rate increases by 60% until the end of their first attack. |
This ornament is pretty situational — it gives a big burst damage on the first hit, which is great for one-turn kills or short fights. But in longer battles, it mostly only helps at the start. Use it only if your Crit Rate is really high and you want to make the most of your opening strike.

Silver Wolf ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ |
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ |
Silver Wolf is great for boosting Quantum damage. She can apply Quantum Weakness to enemies who aren’t naturally weak to it, so Archer always gets the DEF-ignore bonus from the Genius of Brilliant Stars set. She also lowers enemy DEF and adds other debuffs, making Archer’s damage even higher. Since Silver Wolf’s Skill uses SP, it’s best to team her up with a support who uses little SP or someone who generates SP. For the other two team spots, you can pick a buffer like Cipher, a follow-up attacker like Jade, an SP generator like Sparkle, the GOAT Tribbie, or a healer like Fu Xuan.

Conclusion
To conclude, Archer is a powerful single-target specialist whose value scales with the support invested in him. He might not bring fancy debuffs or team buffs himself, but in endgame content like Memory of Chaos, that's exactly the kind of character you want. Build him with the recommendations above, pair him with a compatible team, and Archer will serve as justice's steadfast companion on your account, cutting down even the toughest foes with ease.
