Explanation

Byarlant Custom 02 (SSR Attacker)
This unit delivers exceptional performance within its class. Its traits are practical, allowing it to fully benefit from both Arc Pilot’s Gundam and New Warship bonuses. When placed in the right lineup, it naturally becomes a high-explosive damage core. Its base stats are already formidable, and with its exclusive SP part designed for tough enemies, its attack power can soar to an astounding 14,516, giving it an extremely high damage ceiling. As an Earth Federation unit, it can pair with flexible pilots by simply assigning a support pilot with strong shooting attributes, and it instantly transforms into a high-firepower attacker. Overall, it boasts a distinctive design and reliable real-world combat effectiveness, making it one of the strongest and most competitive offensive units in the current meta.

Sazabi (EX), (UR Attacker)
The Sazabi (EX) is a highly adaptable assault unit, renowned for its exceptional long-range clearing power. Its telekinesis funnels allow it to launch multiple defensive strikes within a range of 5, enabling it to hit several targets at once. The lower its HP is, the more damage it deals, perfectly synergizing with its built-in feature of +10% buff when its HP below 10%. With dual range-5 weaponry, 5 movement, universal terrain compatibility, and 20% shield damage reduction, it maintains consistent damage output across both ground and aerial missions. When paired with Char, it gains the Zeong tag and improves its evasion and reaction on the battlefield, pushing its explosive damage even further. As one of the most reliable early-UR attackers from the Universal Century lineup, the Sazabi (EX) truly shines when you invest in enhancing its multi-hit EX weapons, especially the funnels, allowing it to sweep through most stages with speed and efficiency.

Xi Gundam (EX), (UR Attacker)
This Gundam stands out for its exceptionally high armament and a top-tier 20% attack bonus. When paired with a pilot who boosts MP, it starts with max MP, and since its weapons do not consume MP, the 20% bonus and the full-MP damage boost remain active for the entire battle. It delivers strong and stable output from beginning, though its range is only 4. Its attack bonus applies broadly to Earth Federation units, and it has excellent terrain adaptability, becoming one of the few UC machines, after Byarlant, that can fly without transforming. It also comes with strong tags, even if a few are niche. Its main weakness is its low EN, making EN-focused support pilots necessary for optimal performance.

Casval’s Gundam (UR Attacker)
The Casval’s Gundam is a heavy assault unit with high firepower, supported by two powerful wide-range passives that place it among the best in its tier. Its main weapon can exceed 6,000 attack power when fully enhanced. However, as a heavily armoured unit, it suffers from low mobility, having only 4 range of movement. Even so, its strong base stats, high burst potential, and beam rifle keep it firmly in the top echelon. As an Earth Federation mecha, it also benefits from flexible pilot options, giving it strong adaptability across teams.
Defend Units
Unlike attacking units, the effectiveness of defensive and support units depends on more than just raw stats. Their performance is shaped by three key factors: mobility, which determines how far they can extend support; terrain compatibility, since units must share the same terrain type to assist each other; and the presence of shields, as the additional 20% damage reduction they provide can significantly boost survivability.

Explanation

Unicorn Gundam (Destroy Mode), (SSR Defender)
This Unicorn Gundam excels as a defensive unit, offering a powerful 40–45% defence reduction. Its reliable field control and strong team damage buffs can boost overall DPS, especially in tough stages, boss fights, and tactics-heavy content. Its terrain adaptability is solid, usable on most Circle terrains except air combat. Though its own firepower isn’t top-tier and works best when paired with Banagher, it delivers exceptional value as a support or defence unit, providing debuffs, suppressing enemy awakening, and creating an ideal damage environment for the team.

Full Armour Unicorn Gundam (SSR Defender)
The Full Armor Unicorn Gundam specializes in extreme heavy armament, offering high durability, multi-hit firepower, and reliable countermeasures. Its strong defensive passives make it very hard to burst down on the frontline, while its mix of short, mid and long-range weapons, like Gatling barrages, grenades, and rockets, provides steady, continuous damage. With shields and barrier mechanics that absorb or block critical hits, its survivability is excellent. Some skills also add taunts, debuffs, or defensive buffs for allies, letting it function as both a tank and a partial support. Overall, it isn’t a burst unit, but is highly effective in long, drawn-out battles and endurance missions.

Penelope (EX), (UR Defender)
At full upgrade, this machine reaches EN 424, the highest among all current defensive units, though it doesn’t output continuously. Its maximum timing power hits 9,396, the second highest in its class, improving the success rate of non-EX attacks. It features dual damage reduction, both physical and beam, which gives it a strong edge in Master League. It comes with many large tags, strong terrain adaptability, built-in shields, and even flight capability similar to the Xi Gundam. However, its main drawback is needing 2MP to use its EX move and without the original pilot, it cannot use it at the start. It also must stand on the frontline to take hits before activating it, and its range is only 4.

Gundam GP01 (Chobham Armor), (SSR Defender)
This is a top-tier defensive unit in Gundam UC Engage, capable of negating nearly all damage. Its EX Skill restores 45% HP, and its passives nearly mollify cut beam and projectile damage by up to 98% while throwing 144% of EX Skill damage right back to attackers. This makes it a major PvP threat, especially when paired with Gyan for faster EX charging. Relying on large HP boosts, improved accuracy, and a higher damage buff, it creates a powerful threat with rebound and stable output, making it one of the most difficult SSR defender to deal with and the most durable PvP.

Explanation

Psycho Zaku (EX), (UR Supporter)
The Psycho Zaku has two major strengths: an EX Skill that hits dramatically harder against Gundam-Type units, and an attack boost that grows as allies fall. Its EX Skill deals 644% ATK to one target, plus an extra 163% ATK every 5 seconds for 20 seconds if the enemy is a Gundam-Type MS. Although it lacks both a 50% starting EX gauge and any EX gauge acceleration, it gains 25% EX gauge whenever an ally is defeated, steadily ramping up its destructive power as the fight goes on.

The-O (EX), (UR Supporter)
The-O is a top-tier support unit focused on strong beam firepower and powerful debuffs. Its EX-weapon, with a range of 4, applies a +35% beam damage taken debuff, while strong passives boost energy, mobility, and durability, giving it threat levels close to an attacker. Its normal weapon (range 3) adds +25% special damage, and strong grants of +10% ATK/DEF, improving consistency and survivability. With mobility 5, it performs well in difficult content like Eternal Path Hard Mode. It must be paired with Paptimus for full performance, as he provides +30% starting damage and expands range, fixing its range-4 limitation. With this setup, The-O delivers high buffs/debuffs and steady beam support, reaching near-DPS output and serving as a core support for Titans, UC teams, and tough raid content.

Force Impulse Gundam (EX), (UR Supporter)
This Gundam switches instantly between high-speed and high-mobility modes, excelling at rapid aerial engagement. Its exclusive Adler Zwei armament combines rifle and sabre functions for long to close-range combat. As a dual-range 5 UR supporter, its attack is solid, but its durability is outstanding thanks to mobility 5, great terrain adaptation, 20% shield damage reduction, –40% physical damage, and 5% HP/EN regen each round. Its main weapon adds a strong support debuff, including -35% DEF and +25% special damage, making it very effective in difficult missions.
