Hey, welcome to Yixuan’s super in-depth guide! Today, we’re zeroing in on Yixuan, the brand-new S-rank Auric Ink Rupture agent. She’s rocking a one-of-a-kind playstyle and some absolutely killer builds that turn her into a total beast in combat.

As the first main DPS of Auric Ink Rupture, Yixuan can enhance her special skill to parry enemies’ attacks. She has both survivability and damage-dealing capability, making her a powerful character.

Yixuan Overview

Rarity: S-Rank｜Attribute: Auric Ink｜Specialty: Rupture｜Faction: Strike

Yixuan is an S-Rank agent with the Auric Ink attribute who belongs to the Rupture Specialty and who is part of the Yunkui Summit faction.

Rapture class offer effectively a mix of damage and survivability. They have their own stat, called Sheer Force, which allows them to ignore defense. Yixuan use Adrenaline bar instead of energy, she will start with full Adrenaline. There are several ways how to get her adrenaline, like perfect dodging or performing certain abilities within her kit. She also has two variations of her ultimate ability, one does cost decibel rating, meanwhile the other one will cost Auric points which you will generate by performing her attacks.

 

Yixuan Skill Priorities

To maximize Yixuan's damage output and utility, leveling her skills in the right order is essential. Here's the recommended priority:

The main burst skill involves charging up to deal high piercing damage and comes with an auto-block effect. A perfect block can trigger an extra attack, enhancing both survival and output.

Provides invincibility frames and additional damage, but relies on player.

Yixuan is positioned as the main DPS. The usage frequency of his support skills is low, so they can be ignored when resources are tight.

Yixuan W-Engines

As an Agent with the newly introduced Specialty type "Rapture," Yixuan has access to a relatively limited selection of W-Engines. However, her signature W-Engine is exceptionally powerful. When equipped, it enables Yixuan to deal approximately 30% more damage compared to other available options.

Qingming Birdcage

Rarity: S-Rank｜Base ATK: 743｜Bonus Stat: HP 30%

W-Engine Effect (S1): 

CRIT Rate increases by 20%. When the equipper launches an EX Special Attack, the character gains the Qingming Companion effect, stacking up to 2 times and lasting 15s. On entering combat, immediately gain 2 stacks. Repeated triggers reset the duration. Each stack of the Qingming Companion effect increases the equipper's Ether DMG by 8%, and increases Ultimate and EX Special Attack Ether Sheer DMG by 10%.

① CRIT Rate Bonus

Yixuan’s W-Engine's effect first provides a critical rate bonus to make up for the relatively low CRIT Rate + CRIT DMG multiplier of Yixuan. Since Yixuan’s effective stats only include double CRIT, HP, and ATK, among which HP and ATK have relatively low benefits, double CRIT is actually the highest-value bonus for Yixuan, and the improvement it brings is significant.

② Ether DMG Bonus

After casting EX Speical Attack, you gain 1 stack of the Qingming Companion effect that lasts for 15 seconds. At the start of the battle, you directly gain 2 stacks (max 2 stacks). Each stack provides an 8% Ether DMG bonus for Yixuan.

At the start of the battle, you’ll have the max stacks, and the buff can be steadily refreshed afterward. So, it provides a full-coverage 16% Ether DMG boost. Even though the damage-boosting value is quite high, it’s still an extremely high-quality buff.

③ Ether Penetration DMG Bonus

Each stack of Qingming Companion effect will also grant Yixuan a 10% Ether Penetration DMG bonus for EX Special Attack and Ultimate. The maximum stack provides a 20% Ether Penetration DMG bonus. This Ether Penetration DMG bonus exists in a separate multiplier zone distinct from conventional damage bonuses; it doesn’t get diluted when calculated alongside traditional damage-boosting effects. So, it yields an extremely explosive benefit for Yixuan, and this is the primary source of the signature weapon’s strength for her.

	Radiowave Journey (A-Rank) Base ATK: 594｜Bonus Stat: HP 25% W-Engine Effect (R5): When launching a Chain Attack or Ultimate, the equipper gains 1 stack of a buff effect. Each stack increases the equipper's Sheer Force by 128, stacking up to 3 times, and lasting 12s. The duration of each stack is calculated separately.
	Puzzle Sphere (A-Rank) Base ATK: 594｜Bonus Stat: ATK 25% W-Engine Effect (R5): Upon launching an EX Special Attack, the equipper's CRIT DMG increases by 25.6% for 12s. Additionally, if the target's current HP is below 50% of their Max HP, EX Special Attack DMG increases by 32%.

The new Drive Disc set introduced in Version 2.0, "Yunkui Tales," is specifically designed for Yixuan and stands as the only recommended 4-piece set for her.

• 2-piece Set: HP +10%.
• 4-piece Set: When using EX Special Attack, Chain Attack, or Ultimate, CRIT Rate increases by 4%, stacking up to 3 times and lasting 15s. Repeated triggers reset the duration. When having 3 stacks of this effect, Sheer DMG increases by 10%.

At 0 Mindscape Cinema, prioritize crit rate. If you have 60% crit rate, it’ll be 72% in battle. Since only Yunkui Tales provides a 12% in-battle CRIT Rate, prioritize increasing it at this time; otherwise, the CRIT Rate will be too low.
M0S1	50-68	140-160
The signature W-Engine provides a 20% CRIT Rate boost. With 68% crit rate, you’ll hit the max crit chance. At this point, a CRIT Rate of 50% - 68% is sufficient, both the HP and crit damage can be improved.
M1S1	40-58	160-200
With 1 Mindscape Cinema, you get an additional 10% CRIT Rate. At 58% CRIT Rate, you’ll reach the max crit chance. Prioritize boosting crit damage. Subsequent higher Mindscape Cinema will have the same stats as M1S1, there’s no difference.

Mindscape vs Signature Weapon Pull Recommendation

It is recommended to pull for one Signature W-Engine. If your budget allows, you can pull for one Mindscape and one W-Engine.

If you have enough pulls to either get Yixuan’s Mindscape Cinema One or her Signature W-Engine, LDShop would recommend pulling her W-Engine first because it has more CRIT stats. Yixuan’s Signature W-Engine has a base attack of seven hundred forty-three and a substat of thirty percent H.P.

Since Yixuan’s specialty, Rupture, is new, I do not know if there will be any free-to-play W-engines for her. But it is likely there will be something for her apart from her signature one.
