While slightly weaker than genuine gacha 5-star Light Cones (often called "4.5-star Light Cones" by players), they are excellent choices for F2P players. Works well with: Fu Xuan

It increases Effect RES and provides a Shield and DMG Reduction, but these effects only apply to the wearer, not teammates. This makes its versatility poor, essentially restricting it to Fu Xuan. Its effect increases the wearer's ATK for each enemy hit, stacking up to 5 times. When hitting 3 or more enemies, it also increases SPD. This makes it suitable for Erudition characters tackling Pure Fiction. However, Erudition characters have other good options for Pure Fiction, such as the gacha 5-star light cone "Night on the Milky Way" (Himeko's signature, if you happen to get it), or the 4-star cones "Geniuses’ Repose" and "Memory's Curtain Never Falls". Although this DMG boost usually doesn't benefit Pollux when Hyacinthus is teamed with Castorice, this remains a minor issue. A Remembrance characters wanting more Speed could also use this Light Cone. Top 3: Solitary Healing (Nihility)

As a Nihility Light Cone, Solitary Healing is a bit puzzling because it doesn't increase Effect Hit Rate or ATK, but instead boosts Break Effect. This made it unpopular for a long time. However, with Hysilens's release this version, Solitary Healing becomes a great fit for her specifically in the Pure Fiction game mode. It's easy to trigger the Light Cone's Energy Regeneration effect, allowing Hysilens to use her Ultimate more frequently to detonate the DoT effects on enemies. (Official sources confirm Hysilens's kit heavily utilizes Ultimate detonations and benefits from Break Effect scaling in Pure Fiction.) When pairing Hysilens with Kafka in Pure Fiction and neither has their best Light Cone, Solitary Healing is recommended for Hysilens, while Kafka should use the 4-star cone "Before the Tutorial Mission Starts". Cruising in the Stellar Sea also has strong versatility, increasing CRIT Rate and boosting ATK after defeating an enemy target. It ranks below On the Fall of an Aeon primarily because Hunt characters are often trickier to play. Most Hunt characters aren't ideal for auto-battle, performing significantly better under manual control. However, if you enjoy manually controlling Hunt characters in combat, such as using Archer, then equipping him with Cruising in the Stellar Sea is a solid option.
