Season 4 of Last War: Survival is just around the corner, bringing fresh challenges, powerful rewards, and new strategies to explore. Whether you’re a veteran commander ready to push your limits or a newcomer looking to rise through the ranks, this season promises exciting updates that will shake up the battlefield.
In this guide, we’ll walk you through everything you need to know to get a head start and make the most out of Season 4.
What we have
Season 4 – Main Overview
Sakura Isle was once a quiet paradise—cherry blossoms in full bloom, a towering volcano on the horizon, and four distinct seasons. Then everything changed. A sudden, island-wide power failure plunged the region into darkness as heavy clouds sealed the sky and dense fog smothered the streets, leaving an eerie silence. In the aftermath, a mysterious virus began to spread across the island. Local legends now whisper that an ancient “Oni General” has awakened, rising with the darkness.

Season 4 – The Strategy Guide
To thrive in Season 4, proper preparation is key. Here are the most important points:
Preparation
You should already know by now that all Seasons share a few facts:
- Every season introduces new buildings to level up. Prioritize skills and technologies that reduce construction costs and speed up building time.
- Save your tickets at the end of the previous season; they’ll provide Seasonal Resources when used.
- A new SSR hero will be promoted this season, so purple shards are a must-have item to stock up on.
- Seasonal base skins grant unique bonus buffs, making them valuable.
- You’ll need plenty of stamina for both killing world zombies and engaging in new seasonal events.
Fast growth, useful especially in the first days
The early game is the toughest part due to stone shortages and low virus resistance. Here’s how to grow quickly:
- Alliance Relocation: Move your alliance to a better location, ideally near Level 6 cities or away from unfriendly neighbors.
- War Fever: Use this buff for attack-related activities to increase your power by +1% (note: not available at the very start when shields are active).
- Rallies & Virus Resistance: The rally leader’s virus resistance applies to all members. Use high-resistance leaders to capture strongholds effectively.
- Doom Elite Strategy: If a low-resistance ally wants to claim first-kill rewards, they can start a rally with a weak squad, while high-resistance allies join in to finish the fight.
- Support Your Allies: Send Electricians to allies to improve their Light Status and boost virus resistance across the team.
Stone and Quartz
- Start Season 4 with stacked radar missions so you can immediately trigger an Izakaya Bar mission for stone rewards.
- No Alliance Resource Tiles: In Season 4 there are no Stone/Quartz alliance tiles. Instead, support allies by sending Electricians.
- Don’t kill them right after reset on the day your server gets Season 4. Wait until the season starts, then kill the highest level you can. Level 190 gives 207k stone for the first kill—higher levels don’t reward more. Do this daily..
- upgrade all Quartz Workshops only up to level 15 until you unlocked all of them (4 + 1 additional with weekly pass), then first all to level 16, then all to level 17, etc. Each time you reach level 15 of a quartz workshop the next one is unlocked. Read more about it in this article
- capture digging strongholds as soon as possible, as they provide hourly stone to all members of alliance. Just remember to always collect the stone, to do so go to Alliance button -> Alliance Cities -> Tab Digging Strongholds and click on Claim all hourly.
- start killing immediately small zombies up to level 3 that don’t require curse resistance, you will obtain first kill rewards. Take into consideration that small zombies have a type (tank/missile/aircraft) and so dealt damage debuffs apply
- Blood Night Descend: Starting Day 2, Week 1, Blood Night occurs 3 times a day (30 minutes each). During this time, kill world zombies and Doom Elites to gain first-kill rewards and Tactics Cards.
Rules and suggestions for land capture
Season 4 has some news regarding the map: you will find cities, digging strongholds and trade posts and they are a different amount than those in Season 3.
Cities are similar to Season 1/2/3 cities, they unlock following the S4 City Clash event.
Go to Alliance button -> Alliance City to see the Digging Strongholds and City you own, and to see limits of capture.
Copper war
In Season 4 the cross-warzone wars are similar to the ones in Season 3, based on 2 opposing factions, but with some changes.
Warzones can choose which faction to join through the Faction Award Event in week 3 and then these 2 faction will fight each other during Copper War Event in week 4.

It resembles partially Desert Storm but it introduces a lot of new features.
The registration phase will start during this first off-season week, but the actual first battle will happen the next week.
Soon I will add a dedicated guide for this event, devs are changing it frequently so I am waiting for it to stabilize a bit.
