Anniversary & Version 7.1 Release Date

Mark your calendars, because the sixth anniversary officially drops on September 28, 2026, coinciding neatly with the launch window of Version 7.1 on September 23, 2026. 

 

2026 Anniversary Rewards

HoYoverse is pulling out all the stops for the sixth anniversary, giving both free-to-play champions and dolphins plenty of reasons to log in daily.

Cumulative Check-In and Mail Drop

• Rainbow's End: Resplendent Starlight Sign-In: Simply logging in during the event lets you rake in up to 10 Intertwined Fates, 1 Dust of Enlightenment, 80,000 Mora, and 8 Hero's Wits.
• Mail Delivery (Post-September 28): Check your in-game mailbox for 1,600 Primogems, 2 Fragile Resin, Sanctifying Elixir, and exclusive anniversary gadgets including the "Conductor of the "Ya-ho"" pet and "A Mini Trolley Problem" furnishing.
• Top-Up Reset: The Genesis Crystal store initial top-up bonus will officially reset right after the Version 7.1 maintenance.

Free Event-Exclusive 5-Star Selector

After clearing the Version 7.1 Archon Quest "A Rekviem for the Underworld", players can invite one limited 5-star character of their choice straight to their roster, complete with full ascension materials. The featured lineup includes:

Silverwing in Pursuit of the Moon (Sept 24 – Oct 12)

Serving as the flagship seasonal event of the patch, Travelers will head to Chenyu Vale’s Yilong Wharf to assist in organizing a grand local celebration. The event features a diverse mix of engaging mini-games, including classic brick-breaking puzzles, time-trial gliding and exploration challenges, and special combat stages with unique mechanics. Along the way, you can snag the free 4-star sword Silver Light, alongside generous Primogems, a Crown of Insight, and talent materials.

Vesna's Patrol Mission (Sept 24 – Oct 4)

Accompany the commander of the Druzhna on special reconnaissance duties across the frozen borders. This introductory character-focused event lets you dive deeper into Vesna's lore while pocketing juicy Primogem rewards and weapon enhancement materials.

Anniversary Memories Album (Sept 28 – Oct 18)

A nostalgic anniversary web and in-game event that compiles your personal Teyvat travel milestones, combat stats, and fondest exploration memories from the past year into a personalized interactive scrap-book, rewarding you with bonus Primogems and celebratory keepsakes upon sharing.

Stygian Onslaught (Sept 30 – Nov 3)

For the hardcore combat enthusiasts, this intense endgame challenge pits your built rosters against a gauntlet of ferocious bosses featuring modified multi-phase mechanics and fierce ley line disturbances, testing your ultimate team synergies for precious rewards and bragging rights.

Starlit Gala (Oct 1 – Nov 3)

Running deep into the patch lifecycle across two phases (Phase 1: Oct 1–22; Phase 2: Oct 22–Nov 3), this massive community-focused event acts as the core thematic hub for the anniversary festivities. It blends special in-game community milestones with festive web elements, keeping the celebration spirit high across Teyvat.

Predictive Victory Dynamics (Oct 12 – Oct 20)

Designed to test your tactical intuition, this lightweight combat challenge requires players to observe specific combat configurations or simulated matchups. By analyzing team synergies and predicting outcomes or executing specific conditions, you can quickly rack up points and secure fast Primogem gains.

Carefree Snowball Fight (Oct 21 – Nov 2)

Offering a fun and casual break from deep lore and heavy abyss grinding, this event focuses entirely on multiplayer entertainment. Travelers can jump into whimsical, lighthearted snowball showdowns with friends, utilizing environmental mechanics and precise throws to claim victory in a festive winter arena.

Overflowing Favor (Oct 26 – Nov 2)

A classic and highly anticipated utility event for late-game progression, this bonus helps you perfect your builds for Vesna, Vodyanitsa, or Skirk. By consuming Original Resin while clearing designated Artifact Domains, players will be rewarded with double drops up to a daily limit, making artifact farming much more efficient.

Permanent Events

Alongside the limited-time festivities, Teyvat's core permanent endgame content continues to offer high-tier challenges and steady Primogem income throughout Version 7.1.

Spiral Abyss

The legendary domain located in Musk Reef receives its scheduled mid-month and start-of-month enemy layout refreshes. Floor 12 introduces a fresh set of Abyssal Moon Spire blessings tailored to the elemental traits and combat mechanics of Version 7.1 characters, pushing seasoned Travelers to adapt their team compositions for maximum star ratings and Primogem rewards.

Imaginarium Theater

Unlike the Spiral Abyss, it requires a broad roster of characters meeting specific level and element requirements. Players progress through a series of acts by managing a Vigor system (where characters can only fight a limited number of times), recruiting backup cast members, and spending earned Fantasia Flowers on combat buffs. Clearing higher difficulties grants Primogems, leveling materials, and exclusive rewards.
