The Emanator of Destruction, Nanook, can be essentially seen as the "big boss" of Honkai: Star Rail's story—one who seeks to destroy the universe. Nanook commands seven Lord Ravagers, all his chosen emissaries who wield his power. They are destined to wage war against the Aeons of other Paths!

 

Lord Ravager: Asat Pramad

The Lord Ravager, Asat Pramad, rarely engages in direct combat. Instead, they meticulously orchestrate their legion's invasions from the shadows—with their sights set on the Path of Elation.

 

Lord Ravager: Zephyro

The Lord Ravager, Zephyro, possesses immense power and has set its sights on the Path of Nihility.

 

Lord Ravager: Celenova

Celenova, the only Lord Ravager rumored to know the secrets of the Stellaron, targeting the Path of Harmony.

 

Lord Ravager: Sun-Devourer

A colossal beast known as the "Sun-Devourer," targeting the Path of Voracity or Permanence.

 

Lord Ravager: Cast king

Cast king, the master weaponsmith of the Destruction Legion, targeting the Path of Preservation.

 

Lord Ravager: Phantylia

The most well-known Lord Ravager, Phantylia, skilled in deception and manipulation, targeting the Path of The Hunt.

 

Lord Ravager: Iron Tomb

The Lord Ravager, Iron Tomb, destroys civilizations through viral plagues, targeting the Path of Erudition.

 

What will happen in the future?

In the future, the Path of Destruction will wage war across the universe, with each Lord Ravager tasked to slay a specific Aeon. However, as mere Emanators, directly killing an Aeon remains an immense challenge.

The first step in their plan involves using Amphoreus to nurture the birth of the Emanator of Destruction—Iron Tomb. Phantylia claims that once Iron Tomb "hatches," it will be capable of killing the Aeon of Erudition.

This "shell" refers to Amphoreus, and Iron Tomb may either be Phainon or have some connection to him.

But how can an Emanator kill an Aeon? The answer may lie in a form of conceptual counter: Iron Tomb could act as the "inverse function" of Erudition, a natural predator to the Path of Erudition.

In the future simulated by the Jade Abacus, Jingliu witnessed the outbreak of the Aeon War and Iron Tomb's slaying of the Aeon of Erudition. This led her to journey to the Xianzhou alongside Luocha, who carried a mysterious coffin. Inside that coffin lies the corpses—a key component in the Xianzhou's plan. By combining it with the power of The Hunt, they aim to finally kill their eternal enemy: the Aeon of Abundance.

However, this is precisely the scheme of the Emanators of Destruction - Celenova and Phantylia. They plan to manipulate the Xianzhou into first killing the Aeon of Abundance, then the Aeon of Harmony, and finally commit suicide - which would mean killing the Aeon of the Hunt.

Meanwhile, the other Emanators of Destruction intend to eliminate the Aeon of Erudition first, then proceed to kill the Aeon of Elation.

If the Emanators of Destruction succeed in their plans, they would manage to kill a total of five Aeons: Erudition, Abundance, Harmony, the Hunt, and Elation.

But! The Astral Express may yet save everything.

However, the Lord Ravager Celenova believes that even if the Astral Express thwarts this plan, it will still create opportunities for the Emanators to kill other Aeons.

 

Why did the Astral Express go to Amphoreus?
