Most launch players will lose damage not because of stats, but because of bad team structure. In Neverness to Everness, if your comp doesn’t consistently trigger reactions, it simply won’t scale.

This guide focuses on three functional teams: bossing, AoE farming, and F2P progression. Each team is structured with clear roles, reaction logic, and practical execution.

Fadia

Adler

Adler

This team is built around multi-layered reaction stacking. Adler enables Incantation, which combines with Daffodil’s Chaos to trigger Scorch (DoT). Fadia and Daffodil enable Nova (delayed burst), and when both overlap, Discord is triggered—significantly accelerating break damage. The system runs multiple reactions simultaneously without requiring strict execution.

Fadia fundamentally changes survivability. By redirecting team damage to herself with a capped absorption threshold and non-lethal floor, she allows the team to maintain uptime under pressure. This creates a high-efficiency environment where DPS units can operate without interruption, making the comp extremely stable in extended boss fights.

Strengths

  • Highest single-target damage potential
  • Strong break bar shredding
  • Near-immortal survivability with proper Fadia build
  • Scales exceptionally with investment

Weaknesses

  • High investment requirement
  • Relies on specific units (low flexibility)
  • Fadia must be properly built (HP stacking)

Rotation (Simplified)

  • Adler opens → apply Incantation + shield
  • Swap Daffodil → trigger Chaos → Scorch starts
  • Swap Fadia → activate ability
  • Swap Nanally → apply buffs / hits
  • Loop based on procs
  • Use ultimates only during stagger windows

Jiuyuan

Jiuyuan

This team is optimized around hit frequency and autonomous damage generation. Zero applies Cosmos, which combines with Nanally’s Anima to generate Blossom (auto-attacking entity). Jiuyuan adds grouping and enables additional reaction layering through Incantation (Hex). The result is a system where damage scales with the number of hits rather than burst windows.

Because multiple effects trigger independently, the team maintains constant pressure across large enemy groups. This makes it the most efficient setup for farming and wave-based content.

Strengths

  • Best AoE clear speed at launch
  • High reaction uptime
  • Scales with enemy count
  • Flexible fourth slot

Weaknesses

  • Weaker single-target performance
  • Lower burst damage vs bosses
  • Requires basic positioning awareness

Rotation

  • Open with Sakiri → group enemies
  • Swap Zero → apply Cosmos
  • Swap Nanally → sustained DPS
  • Use Jiuyuan as needed for healing / tagging
  • Repeat loop

Do not waste grouping skill on low-value mobs and maintain continuous hit generation.

Mint

Skia

Skia

This team functions as a baseline progression setup. It maintains basic reaction capability while prioritizing survivability and accessibility. Adler provides shields and setup, Mint enhances team output, and Chiz handles primary damage through skill and ultimate cycles. Skia compensates for the lack of advanced defensive mechanics with healing.

The structure is simple but effective for early and midgame. However, it lacks the reaction density and scaling required for high-end content, making it a temporary solution rather than a final build.

Strengths

  • Fully accessible / low investment
  • Stable for early and midgame
  • Flexible substitutions

Weaknesses

  • Low reaction efficiency
  • Weak endgame scaling
  • Slower boss clear speed

Rotation

  • Adler → shield + setup
  • Mint → buffs
  • Chiz → DPS + ultimate
  • Skia → heal when needed
  • Repeat

Replace Chis with Daffodil as a priority, then transition into reaction-based comps, and add Nanally for scaling.

Conclusion

If a team fails, it is usually not due to stats—it is due to missing reaction loops and poor role distribution. Early roster strength directly impacts progression efficiency. Securing core units reduces both time investment and mechanical difficulty.
