Neverness to Everness has built its 2026 banner schedule around a steady version-by-version release pattern, bringing new limited S-rank characters, featured Arc banners, and rotating A-rank units with each major update. From early launch banners to later version cycles, every patch expands the roster while highlighting different story themes, factions, combat styles, and character identities. For players, following the NTE banner timeline is important for planning pulls, saving resources, and deciding which characters or Arcs are most worth investing in.

How NTE Banners Work (Quick Primer)

NTE's gacha system is called the Scarborough Fair — instead of tapping a button, you roll dice and move across a board, collecting rewards from the tiles you land on. There are three main board types:

Board Type

Currency

Pity

Notes

Limited Board

Solid Dice

Solid Dice

90-pull hard pity

No 50/50 — S-rank is always the featured character

Standard Board

Annulith

Annulith

90-pull hard pity

Free S-rank selector after 50 pulls

Arc Research Program

Tri-Keys

Tri-Keys

80-pull hard pity

50/50 exists; losing it still locks in featured Arc by 80

The biggest player-friendly feature here: pity carries over between limited banners. Whatever progress you built on one board rolls directly into the next. No wasted pulls.

NTE 1.3 Banner

Phase 1 – Zankou

Zankou

Zankou is a new limited S-Class character debuting in the first half of Neverness to Everness Version 1.3. She is already a familiar face to players who have progressed through the main story, having appeared as a major antagonist in Chapter 4 and as a member of The Scarlet Letter. Version 1.3 marks her transition from a story enemy to a playable character.

In combat, Zankou serves as an on-field Incantation Main DPS, using fast blade attacks and supernatural techniques to maintain pressure on enemies. Her playable kit carries over the phantom-like imagery and aggressive swordplay associated with her story appearances, making her a natural centerpiece for Incantation-focused damage teams. She also possesses a unique open-world trait that allows her to turn invisible and avoid enemy detection.

Phase 2 – Linko

Linko

Linko is the second new limited S-Class character introduced in Neverness to Everness Version 1.3. She is a member of Elite Task Division 6 (ETD-6) within the Bureau of Anomaly Control and operates alongside her Anomaly partner, Xiaozhen, who normally resides inside the television-like device Linko carries on her back.

As an Anima AoE Quickswap character, Linko specializes in working together with Xiaozhen to deal damage across multiple targets while fitting naturally into fast character rotations. Rather than relying entirely on prolonged field time, her combat identity emphasizes ability usage, team switching, and coordinated attacks with her Anomaly partner.

Version 1.4 Banner Leaks

Phase 1 – Blackbird

Blackbird is the mysterious steward of the Witch's House, a supernatural figure closely tied to fortune-telling, Lost Tales, and the occult side of Hethereau. Her calm demeanor and witch-inspired design make her one of NTE's most distinctive unreleased characters.

Phase 2 – Akane Rin

Akane Rin is a musician closely connected to Hethereau's live-music scene. A vocalist and guitarist with ties to a former band, she now works behind the counter at the StarSign bar. Her story blends music, personal history, and the supernatural side of the city.

Version 1.5 Banner Leaks

Phase 1 – Nitsa

Nitsa is a reserve member of ETD-6 who has already appeared alongside the division's other operatives. Her striking blue spectral hair appears to be closely connected to her Esper abilities, giving her a distinctive supernatural combat style.

Phase 2 – Elyms or Exe

Elyms is the lieutenant of ETD-6 and one of the unit's senior members. Known for her colorful ice-cream-inspired appearance, she has recently received a major visual redesign, suggesting that her role may become increasingly important in upcoming story chapters.

Exe is the captain of ETD-6, an elite unit within the Bureau of Anomaly Control. Known for his cold and uncompromising approach to anomaly hunting, he fights with a massive transforming mechanical weapon that can form a jagged arm-blade.
