If you’ve been playing Umamusume: Pretty Derby, you already know the real endgame isn’t just raising the perfect runner—it’s surviving the banner schedule without nuking your Carats.
Carats are hard to come by, and the "Gacha Hell" is very much a thing. If you want to stay competitive without emptying your wallet, you need a solid plan. Here’s the lowdown on the upcoming banner schedule help you decide where to drop those hard-earned savings.
How the Banner System Works (Quick Refresher)
In Umamusume, banners are split into two main types:
- Character Banners – Pull new 3★ Uma characters.
- Support Card Banners – Pull SSR/SR support cards that make your training way stronger.
A few important things to remember:
- Every 10-pull guarantees at least an SR (or 2★+).
- 200 pulls lets you spark (exchange) for a featured SSR.
- Sparks don’t carry over between banners. Once it’s gone, it’s gone.
If you’re committing, commit properly.

Agnes Digital (Power SSR) is a flexible pickup for Power-focused builds, especially useful if your Power box is thin.
Ines Fujin (Wit SR) is solid filler value, but this banner isn’t a must-spark unless you’re targeting Agnes specifically.

Mejiro Ardan (Original) (New) |
0.75% |
Mejiro Ardan arrives as a classy mid-distance option. Not a meta-breaker, but definitely viable if she fits your race planning or you’re building Mejiro-focused lineups.
If you’re low on Carats, this is skippable. If you love her style? Different story.

Rerun |
Looking at the March lineup as a whole, one banner clearly stands above the rest. The March 12 Anniversary Support Card banner featuring Narita Top Road (Speed SSR) is easily the most anticipated release this month. Its arrival will coincide with the launch of the Trackblazer (MANT) scenario, and that timing is no coincidence.
Narita Top Road’s standout strength lies in her unique passive: she boosts Training Effect based on the trainee’s total fan count. In longer training cycles, where fan numbers ramp up quickly, this scaling becomes extremely powerful. For players planning to invest seriously into the new scenario, this card is widely viewed as a cornerstone pickup.
Earlier in the month, the rerun featuring Fine Motion (Wit SSR) also deserves serious attention. Despite being an older card, Fine Motion has consistently maintained top-tier status thanks to her reliability, strong Wit scaling, and long-term versatility. Even heading into the Trackblazer era, she’s expected to remain a premium SS-tier Wit support. If there’s one rerun in March that still feels future-proof, it’s this one.
Future Banner Schedule (Global – Estimated)
These projections are based on the Japanese release order, adjusted to match the Global pacing (around attis 4–5 banners per month). Exact dates may shift.

What Should You Actually Pull?
Let’s be honest. Not every banner deserves your Carats.
Here’s the practical breakdown:
- If You’re Early Game
Pull Support Cards first.
A strong Speed SSR changes your entire account. A shiny character without support depth? Not so much.
- If You’re Competitive (Champions Meeting Focus)
Plan around race conditions.
Short-distance meta coming? Don’t blow everything on a long-distance specialist.
- If You’re Here for Favorites
Spark responsibly.
If you know you’re going to 200 anyway, save until you can fully commit. Half-sparking feels awful.
Conclusion
Umamusume banners rotate quickly, and it’s easy to feel pressured into pulling every time something new drops. But long-term progress in this game has never been about chasing every release, it’s about knowing when to hold and when to commit.
When you do decide it’s time to go all in, make sure you’re prepared. If you need extra Carats to secure that spark, topping up through LDShop is a fast and reliable option. It’s a convenient way to recharge and lock in your pulls without risking a missed banner window.
Plan smart, save wisely, and sprint when it actually matters.
