VALORANT Game Changers Championship 2026 Format

The championship uses a 10-team double-elimination bracket. Teams have two chances to stay in contention: a loss in the upper bracket sends them to the lower bracket, while a second loss knocks them out of the tournament.

Best-of-Three Matches

Most matches use a best-of-three format. Teams need to win two maps to take the series, making map selection, agent compositions, and mid-series adjustments especially important.

A team that drops the opening map still has room to fight back, but losing the second map ends the series. There is little room for sloppy retakes, wasted ultimates, or a defense that keeps giving up free site control.

Best-of-Five Finals

The Lower Bracket Final and Grand Final are best-of-five series. Teams must win three maps, giving both sides more room to adapt their game plan across the series.

The extended format puts more pressure on map pools and stamina. A team with flexible agent picks and strong mid-series reads can make a real difference when the series stretches to four or five maps.

VALORANT Game Changers Championship 2026 Teams

Ten teams qualified for the São Paulo championship. The roster combines regional champions, established international contenders, and squads that earned their places through regional competition.

Team	Region or Qualification Path
Shopify Rebellion Gold	North America Stage 2
Team Liquid Brazil	Brazil Final Stage
G2 Gozen	EMEA Stage 3
Gentle Mates GC	EMEA Circuits Points
SK Nebula	EMEA Circuits Points
Gen.G GC	Pacific
FENNEL Female	Pacific
KRÜ Blaze	LATAM Regional Final
Nova Esports GC	China
MIBR GC	Americas qualification

The lineup brings together teams with different regional playstyles and tournament experience. EMEA squads such as G2 Gozen and Gentle Mates GC face competition from the Americas, Pacific, and China, making international adaptation a key part of the event.

Shopify Rebellion Gold

Shopify Rebellion Gold entered the tournament as one of the North American representatives. The team defeated SK Nebula 2–0 in the upper-bracket quarterfinals and advanced to a semifinal matchup against KRÜ Blaze.

Team Liquid Brazil

Playing on home soil, Team Liquid Brazil has the local crowd behind it. The team lost 0–2 to Gentle Mates GC in the upper bracket but recovered with a 2–0 victory over Nova Esports GC in the lower bracket. That win kept its championship run alive.

MIBR GC

MIBR GC opened its campaign with a 2–0 win over FENNEL Female, then followed it up by beating G2 Gozen 2–0. Those victories put MIBR GC into an upper-bracket semifinal against Gentle Mates GC.

Gentle Mates GC

Gentle Mates GC earned an upper-bracket semifinal spot after beating Team Liquid Brazil 2–0. Its next matchup against MIBR GC presents another test against a team that has yet to drop a map in the results listed above.

G2 Gozen and the Lower Bracket

G2 Gozen lost 0–2 to MIBR GC in the upper-bracket quarterfinals and was scheduled to face Team Liquid Brazil in the lower bracket. The matchup gives both teams a chance to keep their tournament hopes alive, but the loser will have no room left for another mistake.

VALORANT Game Changers Championship 2026 Prize Pool

The tournament features a $500,000 USD prize pool, distributed among the participating teams. The available Liquipedia record lists the following top-four payouts.

Placement	Prize Money
