Hey Rovers! Wuthering Waves 3.3 version features the second phase of the new high-difficulty recurring challenge: Endstate Matrix. As part of the ongoing Doomsday Cycle, this mode offers a consistent way to earn more Astrites and exclusive rewards for future banners. Let’s dive into this blog to see what’s new!

What is Endstate Matrix?
Officially, Endstate Matrix is a new high-difficulty recurring challenge that was reworked and renamed from the previous "Doubled Pawns Matrix" starting in Version 3.2. The game frames it with a compelling narrative: within Solaris's data space, invisible offenses and defenses occur every day. Your objective is to dive deep into the matrix, identify the hidden malice, and delete it before it annihilates everything.
In simple terms, it is a premier combat-focused endgame mode. You are required to deploy teams of three Resonators, select specific Power Circuits (buffs) before starting, and clear intense combat zones to earn points and claim exclusive rewards.
When is Endstate Matrix Available?
The mode operates on a system called Challenge Cycles, which span multiple version updates and are split into phases. The current cycle is known as the Doomsday Cycle (running from Version 3.2 to 3.4).
| Challenge Phase | Version | Duration |
| Phase 1 | 3.2 | March 26, 2026 – April 30, 2026 |
| Phase 2 | 3.3 | May 7, 2026 – June 8, 2026 |
| Phase 3 (Est.) | 3.4 | 7 Days after Update – End of Update |
Currently, we are in Phase 2 of the Doomsday Cycle. This phase launched on May 7, 2026 (one week after the Version 3.3 release) and is scheduled to end on June 8, 2026. Unlike the fixed 28-day reset of Tower of Adversity, Endstate Matrix phases are specifically tied to the version update windows.
Eligibility Requirements
This is strictly an endgame mode for veteran players. The game sets high entry barriers to ensure you are prepared for the intensity within the matrix:
- Achieve at least 24 Crests in one phase of the Tower of Adversity’s Hazard
- Reach at least 3,500 points in one phase of Respawning Waters: Torrents in Whimpering Wastes (after 3.2 releases)
These requirements position Endstate Matrix as the definitive "next step" for players who have already mastered the current endgame content. It serves as a high-stakes arena for serious combatants looking for greater challenges and more prestigious rewards like unique Sigils and Liveries.
Rewards
Rewards in the Endstate Matrix are split into two categories: Phase Rewards, which reset every version update, and Cycle Rewards, which are cumulative milestones for the entire "Doomsday Cycle."
Phase Rewards (Version 3.3)
These rewards can be claimed once per phase by meeting specific requirements in the Stability Accords and Singularity Expansion zones.

The Core Structure: Two Major Zones
Endstate Matrix is divided into two distinct zones: Stability Accords and Singularity Expansion. You must earn the required points in Stability Accords to unlock the Singularity Expansion. Your performance in both zones earns you points to claim phase-specific rewards.

Zone 1: Stability Accords (Strategic Multi-Team Combat)
In Stability Accords, your tactical depth is tested through intense encounters. Unlike a standard boss rush, this zone emphasizes team rotation and resource management.
-
Deployment Limit: You may deploy up to 3 teams (3 Resonators per team).
-
Persistent Progress: Progress carries over between teams—if one team is defeated or swapped, the damage dealt to enemies remains, and the next team continues the fight.
-
The Vigor System: Every time a Resonator participates in a challenge, they consume 1 point of Vigor. Once a Resonator reaches 0 Vigor, they can no longer be deployed for that zone.
Zone 2: Singularity Expansion (Endless Rounds and “Roguelike” Energy)
Once you've proven your strength in Stability Accords, the Singularity Expansion offers a high-stakes, "endless" ladder experience.
-
No Deployment Limit: There is no limit to the total number of teams you can use to push further.
-
Endless Rounds: Defeating all enemies in a round immediately opens the next. There is no limit to the number of rounds you can attempt.
-
Scaling Difficulty & Buffs: As you advance, enemies gain significantly higher HP and power. However, to compensate, more powerful Power Circuit buffs will be unlocked to help you push your limits.
-
Separate Vigor Pool: Vigor is calculated separately for Stability Accords and Singularity Expansion, allowing you to re-strategize your roster for the endless climb.

The Systems That Shape the Mode
Power Circuits (Choose Your Buffs)
Before starting the challenge, you can select Power Circuits to gain powerful combat buffs. This adds a layer of strategy: success depends not just on your Resonators' raw power, but on how well your chosen plan synergizes with your team’s mechanics.
| Power Circuit | Buff Effects | Recommended Resonators |
|---|---|---|
|
General Enhancement |
Enemies take 20% more DMG; Resonance Liberation DMG specifically increases by 20%. | ![]() |
|
Enhancement: Negative Status |
Dealing Anomalous DMG increases Target's DMG taken by 20% and Glacio DMG taken by 30% (30s). Enemies take 80% more DMG from Shatter and Frostbite effects. | ![]() |
|
Enhancement: Echo Skill |
Increases Echo Skill DMG by 20%, Havoc DMG by 20%, and Resonance Skill DMG by 20%. | |
|
Enhancement: Tune Break |
When a character inflicts Discord/Offset status, Team DMG increases by 20% (30s). While under Discord/Offset, the character's Final DMG increases by 30% (15s). | ![]() |
Resonator Enhancements (Special Skill Buffs)

In this mode, certain Resonators receive exclusive skill enhancements.
This goes beyond simple stat boosts, often altering how a Resonator's kit functions within the matrix. It serves as a tactical testing ground, potentially keeping older units relevant and making reruns more appealing. Whether you are using a veteran or a new favorite, these rotating "featured buffs" encourage players to experiment with diverse team compositions rather than sticking to a single meta.
Vigor (A Roster-Depth Check)

Every time a Resonator participates in a challenge, they consume 1 point of Vigor. If a Resonator has 0 Vigor, they can’t be deployed.
Important detail: Vigor is tracked separately for Stability Accords and Singularity Expansion.
This rule clearly pushes players to build more than one team. You can’t rely on the same three characters forever—you need a deeper roster.
Demo Resonators (Friendly to Un-built Resonators)

This is one of the most player-friendly features.
If you own a character, you can use a Demo Resonator version in this mode:
- Set to Level 90
- Equipped with a Level 90 weapon
- Uses a correct Echo set
- Inherits your Resonance Chain (your account’s progression)
That means you don’t have to fully build every character just to participate. You can fill gaps in your teams and also test how a character feels in a high-level environment.
This one of the best parts of the whole mode, because it reduces the “I own them but they’re unbuilt” problem and encourages experimentation.
Conclusion
That’s everything you need to know about the Endstate Matrix for now. It is a true endgame challenge designed to stay rewarding and difficult throughout each cycle.
Once the current phase is fully underway, I will release a detailed guide to help you claim all rewards as efficiently as possible—so stay tuned to LDShop’s Wuthering Waves hub.
