Galbrena Overview

Rarity: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐｜Element: Fusion｜Weapon：Pistol

Galbrena is a 5★ Fusion Pistol Main DPS focused on delivering powerful Echo Skill and Heavy Attack damage.

Kit breakdown

She can transition from her Threshold State into an empowered form, Demon Hypostasis, where her abilities and damage output receive major upgrades. Entering Demon Hypostasis requires 100 Sinflame points, earned by striking enemies while in Threshold State. To further amplify her performance, Galbrena must also accumulate Afterflame, which is generated through Echo Skill usage. Upon activation of Demon Hypostasis, Afterflame enhances all her damage, making it an essential mechanic for unlocking her true power.

V5 Update: Galbrena’s V5 changes are mainly about her Resonance Chain, if you plan to pull for S0 Galbrena, there's no need to worry about the changes. Her S1's CRIT DMG bonus have been nerfed, but S2's ATK bonus now change to 350% from 250%, kind of big buff. Also, her S3's  Liberation is change from 120% to 130%.

Syntonize：To Fire She Returns

ATK is increased by 12%. Upon dealing Echo Skill DMG, gain 20% Heavy Attack DMG Amplification for 6s. Upon dealing Heavy Attack DMG, gain 20% Echo Skill DMG Amplification for 6s. DMG Amplification on each attack is capped at 20%. While both effects are active, dealing damage ignores 8% of the target's DEF.

This weapon is Galbrena's ultimate match because it perfectly synchronizes with her damage rotation, creating a self-sustaining cycle that buffs her Echo Skills and Heavy Attacks simultaneously. The key advantage is unlocking a powerful 8% DEF Ignore while both buffs are active, which dramatically amplifies her burst damage during the empowered Demon Hypostasis state. This synergy not only maximizes her immediate output but also seamlessly accelerates the buildup of her essential Sinflame and Afterflame resources.

 

Alternative

Actually, it is easy to find the alternative of Galbrena’s Weapon. Obviously, giving her 20% echo damage bonus, 20% heavy damage bonus, and when both are active, 8% defense ignore. This gives us a good insight into how she works. If you have Carlotta or Ciaccona’s Signature weapon, they will only perform 15% worse.

The Last Dance

Rarity: 5-star | ATK:500 | CRIT DMG: 72%

Silent Eulogy

Increases ATK by 12%. Every time Intro Skill or Resonance Liberation is cast, Resonance Skill DMG Bonus increases by 48% for 5s.

The passive of this weapon is not that useful for Galbrena, however, it have massive CRIT DMG bonus to optimize Galbrena’s damage output.

Woodland Aria

Rarity: 5-star | ATK: 500 | CRIT Rate: 36%

Lingering Summer Tune

ATK is increased by 12%. Inflicting Aero Erosion on the target gives 24% Aero DMG Bonus for 10s. Hitting targets with Aero Erosion reduces their Aero RES by 10% for 20s. Effects of the same name cannot be stacked.

Same as The Last Dance, the Woodland Aria provides massive CRIT Rate to Galbrena and makes us forget the useless of her passive.

Static Mist

Rarity: 5-star | ATK: 588 | Crit. DMG: 24.3% 

Stormy Resolution

Increases Energy Regen by 12.8%. Incoming Resonator's ATK is increased by 10% for 14s, stackable for up to 1 times after the wielder casts Outro Skill.

Tips: In terms of base stats, this weapon’s Crit. DMG boost is only half that of Galbrena’s Signature Weapon. Static Mist is only about a 20% DPS downgrade from her Sig, which isn't too crazy. 

 

4-Star Choice

Now, if you're a newer player and don't have at least one copy of Static Mist, some of her better four-star options will be the battle pass one.

Solar Flame

Rarity: 4-star | ATK: 413 | Crit. Rate: 20.3% 

Oath of Tide Hunters

Dealing Basic Attack or Heavy Attack DMG increases ATK by 2.2% and grants 2.2% Heavy Attack DMG Bonus for 7s, stacking up to 4 times.

 

Echo Sets

For Galbrena's Echo Sets, the best one is definitely the new designated set alongside the 2.7 version update.

3-Pc: Flamewing's Shadow (2.7 New!)

Set Effects:

• Hitting with an Echo Skill boosts Heavy Attack Crit Rate by 20% for 6 seconds.
• Hitting with a Heavy Attack boosts Echo Skill Crit Rate by 20% for 6 seconds.
• If both buffs are active at the same time, you also gain a 16% Fusion DMG Bonus.

2-Pc Choices

Pair the new echo set with whatever your best 2-pc Fusion Echo Set are, such as Flaming Clawprint, Molten Rift, or Lingering Tunes.

Main Echo

Nightmare: Viridblaze Saurian

Personally, I recommend to put the Saurian as the main echo, it can deals 17.12% Fusion DMG for 10 times, which is massive DMG when ultiplied all the bonuses stacked on Galbrena.

Resonance Chain VS. Signature Weapon

As the Galbrena have not official released yet, I will analyze her Resonance Chain based on the newest V5 kit.

Firstly, I would say her Sig is more valuable than her S1.Because the S1 has been nerfed in the V, the CRIT DMG bonus decreased from 120% to 80%, OMG.

Signature Weapon: Giving her 20% Echo DMG bonus, which pairs best with the main echo we mentioned above. 20% Heavy DMG bonus and when both bonus active, she gains 8% of Defense Ignore to enemies.

S1: When Galbrena enter Demon Mode, she gains 2% CRIT DMG per Forte point, up to 80%. Pretty much Galbrena instantly gets 80% CRIT DMG and as she attacks. About 50% DPS increase for Galbrena.

S2: Burning Drive grants 350% more ATK. It is a passice when casting any of these attacks. It’s a nice 25% DPS increase, but it also changes her build quite a bit, ATK stat lose a good amount of value. The Lingering Tunes echo set becomes way worse than Fusion Echo set.

S3: Increase Liberation DMG multiplier by 130%. So the Galbrena’s Liberation DMG buff now becomes 215% increase, which is another massive 25% overall DPS increase.

S4: Team-wide DMG bonus buff, giving 20% all-attribute DMG bonus when everyone cast the echo skill. Maybe couple of stat increase here, but negligible. About 5% DPS increase.

S5: This is equally as bad. Damage multipliers of Attacks you will barely use increase by 150%. About 5%~10% DPS increase.

S6: 14s after casting Liberation, Demon mode becomes Eternal mode, which means it applies a 60% DMG multiplier to all the attacks. Additionally, consuming Afterflame gives her Fusion Amplification up to 25% increase. At S6, she’s doing much more damage than double damage. About 50% DPS increase.

So the recommended pulling priorities for Galbrena is S0R1 > S1R1 > S2R1 > S3R1 > S6R5.
