Galbrena is a 5★ Fusion Pistol Main DPS focused on delivering powerful Echo Skill and Heavy Attack damage. Known as the "Fiend of Ever-burning Flame," she is a cold and decisive huntress who consumes the frequencies of the Tacet Discords she hunts.

Core Combat Mechanics:

Her gameplay revolves around a high-octane "Burst" style, primarily scaling with Heavy Attack DMG and Echo Skill DMG.

Dual States (Threshold & Demon Hypostasis):
Galbrena starts in the Threshold State. By hitting enemies, she accumulates Sinflame points. Once she reaches 100 points, she can enter her enhanced form: Demon Hypostasis. In this state, her abilities are significantly amplified, allowing her to unleash devastating Fusion damage.

The Afterflame Passive:
This is a unique resource generated when allies use their Echo Skills. When Galbrena enters her Demon form, she consumes these stacks to gain a massive damage boost, making team synergy with Echo-heavy characters crucial.

Syntonize：To Fire She Returns

ATK is increased by 12%. Upon dealing Echo Skill DMG, gain 20% Heavy Attack DMG Amplification for 6s. Upon dealing Heavy Attack DMG, gain 20% Echo Skill DMG Amplification for 6s. DMG Amplification on each attack is capped at 20%. While both effects are active, dealing damage ignores 8% of the target's DEF.

This weapon is Galbrena's ultimate match because it perfectly synchronizes with her damage rotation, creating a self-sustaining cycle that buffs her Echo Skills and Heavy Attacks simultaneously. The key advantage is unlocking a powerful 8% DEF Ignore while both buffs are active, which dramatically amplifies her burst damage during the empowered Demon Hypostasis state. Stormy Resolution

Increases Energy Regen by 12.8%. Incoming Resonator's ATK is increased by 10% for 14s, stackable for up to 1 times after the wielder casts Outro Skill.

Tips: In terms of base stats, this weapon’s Crit. DMG boost is only half that of Galbrena’s Signature Weapon. Static Mist is only about a 20% DPS downgrade from her Sig, which isn't too crazy. 

 

Actually, it is easy to find the alternative of Galbrena’s Weapon. Obviously, giving her 20% echo damage bonus, 20% heavy damage bonus, and when both are active, 8% defense ignore. This gives us a good insight into how she works. If you have Carlotta or Ciaccona’s Signature weapon, they will only perform 15% worse.

The Last Dance (80% 0f sig)

Rarity: 5-star | ATK:500 | CRIT DMG: 72%

Silent Eulogy

Increases ATK by 12%. Every time Intro Skill or Resonance Liberation is cast, Resonance Skill DMG Bonus increases by 48% for 5s.

The passive of this weapon is not that useful for Galbrena, however, it have massive CRIT DMG bonus to optimize Galbrena’s damage output.

Woodland Aria (77% of sig)

Rarity: 5-star | ATK: 500 | CRIT Rate: 36%

Lingering Summer Tune

ATK is increased by 12%. Inflicting Aero Erosion on the target gives 24% Aero DMG Bonus for 10s. Hitting targets with Aero Erosion reduces their Aero RES by 10% for 20s. Effects of the same name cannot be stacked.

Same as The Last Dance, the Woodland Aria provides massive CRIT Rate to Galbrena and makes us forget the useless of her passive.

Now, if you're a newer player and don't have at least one copy of Static Mist, some of her better four-star options will be the battle pass one.

Oath of Tide Hunters

Dealing Basic Attack or Heavy Attack DMG increases ATK by 2.2% and grants 2.2% Heavy Attack DMG Bonus for 7s, stacking up to 4 times.

 

Echo Sets

For Galbrena's Echo Sets, the best one is definitely the new designated set alongside the 2.7 version update.

Pair the new echo set with whatever your best 2-pc Fusion Echo Set are, such as Flaming Clawprint, Molten Rift, or Lingering Tunes.

Corrosaurus

Personally, I recommend to put the C3 echo as the main echo here. The Corrosaurus can deal massive Fusion DMG while giving Galbrena 12% Fusion DMG bonus and 20% Echo Skill DMG bonus.

And why I don't choose C4 echo? C4 echos like Inferno Rider, Lioness of Glory and Reminiscence: Threnodian - Leviathan cannot increase the Echo Skill DMG. Galbrena rely on her Echo and Heavy Attack to deal damage, so we should pick the Corrosurus that gives more DMG bonus.

Resonance Chain VS. Signature Weapon

Firstly, I would say her Signature Weapon (S0R1) is still more valuable than her S1. While the S1 remains a strong boost, the weapon's Defense Ignore and Echo DMG bonus provide a more stable foundation for her overall damage.

Signature Weapon: Gives her 20% Echo DMG bonus (perfectly synergetic with her best-in-slot main Echoes), 20% Heavy Attack DMG bonus, and when both are active, she gains 8% Defense Ignore.

S1 (Heart of Defiance Ever Ablaze): When casting Resonance Skill - Ascent of Malice, she gains 2% CRIT DMG per Afterflame point, up to 80%. Crucially, the live version now also grants interruption immunity to her specific attack stages while in Demon Hypostasis, significantly improving her playability. It remains about a 50% DPS increase in optimal rotations.

S2 (Hellbound Dive of Fire and Abyss): Burning Drive now grants a massive 350% ATK bonus (a 70% increase over her base buffs). This is a huge 25% DPS jump and, as noted before, makes ATK substats lose relative value compared to CRIT and Fusion DMG. This remains the most cost-effective stopping point for many players due to its sheer stat efficiency.

S3 (Hunter's Blood Oath Rekindled): Increases Resonance Liberation DMG multiplier by 130%. Since her Liberation is a primary source of burst, this is a steady 25% overall DPS increase.

S4 (Carry Forth This Fading Spark): A team-wide utility node. When any team member casts an Echo Skill, the entire team gains 20% all-attribute DMG bonus for 20s. This increases her value as a flexible Sub-DPS or Dual-Carry, making her much more viable in diverse team comps.

S5 (Though Light Fades, Torment Consumes): Increases DMG multipliers for Encroach, Ascent of Malice, and Ravage by 150%. Since these specific Resonance Skills aren't her primary "nuke" buttons, this remains a marginal 5%~10% increase. Most players stop at S4 or push for S6.

S6 (I Remain Who I Am, Eternal My Flame): Demon Hypostasis is upgraded to Eternal Hypostasis. It applies a 60% DMG multiplier to her Basic, Heavy, Mid-air, and Dodge Counter attacks. The Fusion DMG Amplification has been buffed in the final version to 0.875% per point, capping at 35% (up from the previous 25%). At S6, her damage output more than doubles.

So the recommended pulling priorities for Galbrena is S0R1 > S1R1 > S2R1 > S3R1 > S6R5.

Galbrena + Lupa + Mornye (The Mono-Fusion Burst Team): This is a high-synergy Triple Fusion (Mono-Fire) team that focuses on shredding enemy resistances and amplifying elemental damage.

• Lupa is the "Fusion Goddess" of this comp, providing a 20% Fusion DMG bonus via her Outro Skill and reducing the enemy's Fusion Resistance.
• Mornye fits as the sustain/support, offering All DMG Amplification and specialized "Tune Break" mechanics that further weaken the enemy. In a Mono-Fusion setup, she can be more valuable than universal healers like Shorekeeper for specific "break" strategies.
