WuWa Hsin Build: Skill Priority, Weapons, Echoes, Teams & More

Hsin, the Sentinels, is shaping up to be one of the most interesting Electro DPS characters in Wuthering Waves 3.7.

You can build around Electro Flare, pairing Hsin with characters who can consistently apply Electro-related effects, or lean into Unison, where frequent Intro Skills and character swaps become the core of the team.

Based on the current pre-release information, here is the best Hsin build for weapons, Echoes, stats, Resonance Chains, teams, and rotations.

Hsin Build Overview

Rarity: 5-Star | Attribute: Electro | Weapon: Rectifier

Hsin's damage is heavily tied to Resonance Skill DMG, even when some of her attacks are activated through other parts of her kit.

She also has strong off-field potential. After setting up her abilities, Hsin can swap out while continuing to contribute damage before returning for her finishing sequence.

How Hsin Works

Hsin has two major gameplay directions: Unison Mode and Electro Flare Mode.

Unison Mode

Unison focuses more heavily on swapping characters and repeatedly triggering Intro Skills.

Instead of treating Hsin as a hypercarry who takes all the field time, you want to set up her attacks, swap into another DPS or sub-DPS, and then bring Hsin back during the right window.

This makes characters with short rotations especially valuable.

Suoming is currently the most obvious partner for this playstyle. Her kit is designed around Electro damage, switching, and buffs that benefit Hsin's Resonance Skill damage.

Electro Flare Mode

Electro Flare teams work differently.

Hsin wants her teammates to apply Electro Flare and help her build the resources needed to strengthen her own Electro attacks. Once the setup is complete, Hsin can convert those effects into a much stronger personal damage window.

This route gives Electro Rover especially good synergy with her, while Buling can also help with Electro Flare application.

Hsin Skill Priority

For most builds:

Forte Circuit > Resonance Liberation > Resonance Skill > Intro Skill > Basic Attack

Hsin's Forte Circuit is the highest priority because so much of her transformed state and major damage sequence is tied to it.

Resonance Liberation should follow closely behind.

One important exception is Unison Hsin.

Her Intro Skills become much more important in a swap-heavy Unison team, so do not leave Intro Skill severely underleveled. After Forte Circuit and Resonance Liberation, Unison players can invest more aggressively into Intro Skill.

Best Hsin Weapons

Blooming Jadehaven

Rarity: 5-star | ATK: 588 | CRIT Rate: 24.3%

Its current R1 effect provides an All-Attribute DMG Bonus and, after applying Electro Flare or triggering a Unison-related effect, significantly improves Hsin's Resonance Skill DMG.

It also allows her Resonance Skill damage to ignore part of the enemy's Electro RES while further strengthening Electro Flare damage.

Basically, almost every part of the weapon is built around Hsin.

If you plan to invest heavily in her, S0R1 is currently the most sensible first stopping point.

Lethean Elegy

Rarity: 5-star | ATK: 588 | CRIT Rate: 24.3%

If you already have Lethean Elegy, there is no need to panic if you cannot get Hsin's signature.

It still offers useful CRIT Rate and strong Resonance Skill-related bonuses, making it one of her better existing 5-star alternatives.

Not every part of the passive is perfect for Hsin, but enough of it lines up with her damage profile to make it a strong option.

Stringmaster

Rarity: 5-star | ATK: 500 | CRIT Rate: 36%

Yinlin's Stringmaster remains one of the most flexible Rectifiers in the game.

Its high CRIT Rate makes building Hsin considerably easier, while its Attribute DMG and ATK bonuses are still useful for her overall damage.

It falls behind her signature in direct synergy, but as a weapon you may already own, it is a very comfortable alternative.

Cosmic Ripples

Rarity: 5-star | ATK: 500 | ATK: 54%

Cosmic Ripples works mainly because of its strong base stats.

Hsin cannot fully take advantage of its Basic Attack-focused effect, so it is not an ideal match. Still, the ATK and Energy Regen make it a reliable standard 5-star fallback.

For lower-budget builds, an Energy-focused 4-star Rectifier such as Fusion Accretion can also work until you have a stronger option.

Best Echoes for Hsin

Best Echo Set: 5-pc Heart of Sworn Vigil

Hsin's new Version 3.7 Echo set is currently her clear best-in-slot option.

2-pc: Electro DMG +10%

5-pc: After applying Electro Flare, gaining Unison, or triggering a Unison Response, Hsin gains additional CRIT Rate and Electro DMG for 30 seconds.

The important part here is that both of Hsin's main playstyles can trigger the set.

You do not need a completely different Echo build when switching from Electro Flare to Unison. The team and rotation change much more than the actual Echo farming does.

Hsin Echo Main Stats

For a standard 4-3-3-1-1 setup:

Hsin already receives a lot of damage bonuses from her kit, weapon, and Echo set, so Electro DMG + ATK% is a very safe 3-Cost combination.

Double ATK% can also be considered if those pieces have much better substats.

For the 4-Cost Echo, simply balance your CRIT ratio.

If you are using Blooming Jadehaven or Stringmaster, a CRIT DMG 4-Cost will often make more sense because the weapon already provides CRIT Rate.

Hsin Substat Priority

Prioritize:

CRIT Rate / CRIT DMG > ATK% > Resonance Skill DMG > flat ATK

Energy Regen is useful too.

Around 125% Energy Regen is a reasonable early target based on the current kit, but do not throw away strong CRIT pieces just to hit an exact number. Her final ER requirement may change once the live rotation is tested properly.

 

Hsin Resonance Chain: Best Sequence Nodes

Hsin is already fully playable at S0, so her Resonance Chain is mainly about improving damage and smoothing out her rotation rather than fixing an incomplete base kit.

S1

S1 mainly improves comfort, interruption resistance, and some of Hsin's mode-specific effects.

Useful, but not a major stopping point by itself.

S2

S2 is the first major investment target.

It strengthens her empowered finishing attacks and improves how frequently she can access them, giving Hsin a noticeably smoother damage cycle.

For players who want more than S0R1, this is currently the best next stop.

S3

S3 is a more aggressive damage upgrade.

It strengthens her Resonance Liberation and provides major bonuses depending on the selected Resonance Mode.

Electro Flare Hsin benefits particularly well from this node.

S6

S6 is the whale breakpoint.

It heavily improves Hsin's Resonance Skill damage, adds defensive penetration-related effects, and pushes both Unison and Electro Flare mechanics beyond their normal limits.

Strong? Absolutely.

Necessary? Definitely not.

Hsin Pull Priority

For most players, the current investment order is:

S0R1 → S2R1 → S3R1 → S6R1

If your account is missing Hsin's important teammates, however, getting those characters will usually matter more than forcing early Resonance Chains.

Best Hsin Teams

Hsin + Suoming + Shorekeeper

This is currently Hsin's most natural Unison team.

Suoming is almost tailor-made to work with her. She provides Electro-related bonuses, interacts with Unison, and can boost the Resonance Skill damage Hsin relies on.

The rotation also fits Hsin extremely well.

Hsin can enter the field, activate her important abilities, swap into Suoming while her own attacks continue in the background, and then return for her finishing sequence.

Shorekeeper fills the final slot with healing and broadly useful team buffs.

Verina can take this position if Shorekeeper is unavailable.

Hsin + Electro Rover + Suisui

For Electro Flare Hsin, Electro Rover is currently one of the most important teammates.

Hsin wants another character who can consistently interact with Electro Flare, and Electro Rover fits that requirement while still contributing meaningful personal damage.

Version 3.7 also gives Electro Rover additional support through new progression and an Electro-oriented Echo setup.

Suisui is a strong sustain option for this team thanks to her healing and team utility.

Buling can also be considered when you need more Electro Flare application, while Chisa is another sustain option for effect-focused teams.

Hsin + Jinhsi + Shorekeeper

This is a more unusual dual-DPS Unison team, but the idea actually works.

Jinhsi already prefers short damage windows rather than extremely long uninterrupted field time. Hsin can also contribute Coordinated Attacks while another character is active, giving the two enough room to share the rotation.

It may not be the default Hsin team, but players who already have a strong Jinhsi can definitely experiment with it.

Hsin Rotation

Hsin's exact optimal combo will need live testing, but her overall gameplay loop is already fairly clear.

Unison Rotation

A simple Hsin + Suoming rotation should look roughly like this:

• Use your sustain character to activate team buffs.
• Switch to Suoming and build her Unison setup.
• Trigger Suoming's Outro and bring Hsin in through Intro Skill.
• Use Hsin's Basic Attacks and Resonance Skill to build her resource.
• Enter Hsin's enhanced state and activate her major abilities.
• Swap back to Suoming while Hsin's off-field attacks continue.
• Complete Suoming's short damage window.
• Switch back into Hsin with the Unison interaction.
• Use Hsin's enhanced attacks and finish with Resonance Liberation.

The key is not overstaying on either character.

This team works because Hsin and Suoming can hand short damage windows back and forth.

Electro Flare Rotation

Electro Flare Hsin follows a different idea:

• Let your support establish buffs and healing.
• Use Electro Rover or Buling to apply Electro Flare.
• Bring Hsin in and build her required resources.
• Enter her enhanced form.
• Briefly swap to your sub-DPS while Hsin continues contributing off-field damage.
• Return to Hsin once her setup is ready.
• Use her empowered Resonance Skill sequence.
• Finish with her strongest attack and Resonance Liberation.

The biggest mistake is treating Hsin like a character who must remain on field from beginning to end.

Her off-field attacks exist for a reason. Let your second damage dealer use that window.

Does Hsin need her signature weapon?

No. Blooming Jadehaven is her best weapon, but alternatives such as Lethean Elegy and Stringmaster are still strong enough to build around. S0 Hsin does not require her signature weapon to function.

Should I play Hsin in Unison or Electro Flare Mode?

Use Unison if you plan to pair her with Suoming and enjoy frequent character swapping. Electro Flare is better suited to teams built around Electro Rover or other characters who can consistently apply Electro Flare.

Is Suoming necessary for Hsin?

Suoming looks like Hsin's best Unison partner, but she is not mandatory for every Hsin team. Electro Flare Hsin can instead be built around Electro Rover.

What stats should I prioritize on Hsin?

Focus on CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG, and ATK%, followed by Resonance Skill DMG. Energy Regen is useful for rotation comfort, with roughly 125% being a reasonable pre-release starting point.
