Qiuyuan is a Sub-DPS (secondary damage dealer) and team buffer, known for being the first character to directly buff Echo skill damage while also providing a teamwide crit damage bonus. He is a flexible sub-DPS, capable of dealing independent damage while simultaneously enhancing his team's output.

The core of Qiu Yuan's gameplay strategy lies in quickly triggering team buffs and achieving high damage output. During combat, first, use the Echo skill to activate the critical hit bonus of Sundering Strike. Then, enter the Green Shade special stance to unleash a continuous volley of Forte skills, dealing massive damage. After that, use the Outro skill to strengthen the next Resonance unit, and then switch out of the field, allowing the main DPS to fully utilize the applied buffs for output. Overall, Qiu Yuan is a short - burst sub - DPS that also provides buffs to the team, rather than a permanent output character.

Consume STA to perform Plunging Attack, dealing Aero DMG.

Dodge Counter
Within a certain time after performing Basic Attack or Heavy Attack, tapping / pressing Normal Attack upon being attacked by the enemy triggers a Dodge Counter against the target, dealing Aero DMG.

Resonance Skill

Undaunted Wayfarer
Hold Resonance Skill to have Qiuyuan leap into the air and dash forward, stepping on bamboos along the way. Releasing Resonance Skill makes Qiuyuan strike a nearby target, dealing Aero DMG. This attack is considered as Heavy Attack DMG.

Sundering Strike
Deal Aero DMG to the targets within the range. For every 1% of Qiuyuan's Crit. Rate over 50%, this skill increases the Crit. DMG of all Resonators in the team by 2% for 30 seconds, maxed at 30%.

 

Forte Circuit

Quietude Within
When Qiuyuan is in Inkverse of Spirit state, he obtains Quietude Within effect. Casting Thus Spoke the Blade: To Teach, Thus Spoke the Blade: To Save, or Thus Spoke the Blade: To Sacrifice Amplifies Heavy Attack DMG by 30% and restores 10 Concerto Energy on hit. This effect ends when Qiuyuan is switched out or when the Inkverse of Spirit state ends.

Drink Away the Sentiment
When casting Echo Skill, Qiuyuan's bamboo jug absorbs overflowing energy and brews it into Mind's Cure. The next time Swordster's Soliloquy is obtained, consume Mind's Cure to gain 30 Resonance Energy. This effect has a 25s Cooldown.

Attack the Must-defend
Attack the target, dealing Aero DMG. After casting Intro Skill, tap / press Normal Attack to perform Bend Not Break and Thus Spoke the Blade: Green in Dark Stage 3 in sequence.

Verdant Edge
Thus Spoke the Blade: Green in Dark When Qiuyuan holds more than 200 points of Swordster's Soliloquy, his Basic Attack is replaced with Thus Spoke the Blade: Green in Dark. Tap / Press Normal Attack to perform up to 4 stages, dealing Aero DMG, considered as Heavy Attack DMG.

Green Shade
When Qiuyuan holds 400 points of Swordster's Soliloquy, he gains the Green Shade effect, allowing all Resonators in the team to gain 30% Echo Skill DMG Bonus for 30s.

Inkverse of Spirit
When Swordster's Soliloquy is full, Qiuyuan enters Inkverse of Spirit state for 8s. In this state, consume Swordster's Soliloquy by holding Normal Attack to perform Thus Spoke the Blade: To Teach, To Save, and To Sacrifice, dealing Aero DMG, considered as Heavy Attack DMG. Performing To Teach / To Save / To Sacrifice is considered as performing Echo Skill. Inkverse of Spirit ends when Swordster's Soliloquy is used up.

Swordster's Soliloquy
Qiuyuan can hold up to 600 points of Swordster's Soliloquy.

• 100 points are obtained when performing Basic Attack Stage 3.
• 100 points are obtained when performing Thus Spoke the Blade: Green in Dark.
• 200 points are obtained when performing Bend Not Break right after casting Intro Skill.
• Swordster's Soliloquy cannot be obtained during the Inkverse of Spirit state.
• Swordster's Soliloquy is cleared when the Inkverse of Spirit state ends.

 

Resonance Liberation

Strike the Weak Spot
Attack all targets within range, dealing Aero DMG equal to 200% of Qiuyuan's ATK, considered Heavy Attack DMG. This skill Amplifies the next incoming Resonator's Echo Skill DMG by 50% for 14s. Switching to another Resonator ends this effect.
