Zenless Zone Zero 2.7 Update Summary: Everything You Need to Know

Zenless Zone Zero 2.7 will release on March 24, 2026, and it will likely feature the release of the last remaining member of Angels of Delusion, Nangong Yu! It finally be able to let our little idols take the stage together and fight monsters side by side.

2.7 New Characters: The Angels of Delusion Finally Unite 

Nangong Yu

Nangong Yu: ( Rarity: S-Rank | Attribute: Ether | Specialty: Stun)

Nangong Yu serves as the Angels of Delusion captain and lead dancer, completing the faction alongside Aria (Ether Anomaly DPS) and Sunna (Physical Support) . Her official EN voice actor is Takao Kanon, with JP voice by the same talent. 

Nangong Yu gains 100 Anomaly Proficiency baseline. When her Anomaly Mastery exceeds 100, every point above the threshold increases her Impact by 0.8 . This means stacking Anomaly Mastery directly improves her stunning capability—a unique synergy no other stunner offers.

 

Cissia

Cissia (Rarity: S-Rank | Attribute: Electric | Specialty: Attack)

Cissia’s game plan is simple: tag targets with Venom Mark, stock Venom, then let Serpent’s Venom Burst do the “set-and-forget” damage while your squad keeps swinging. Her basic string refreshes the Mark, and her dive-style charged hit is the big cash-out—spending Serpent’s Swiftness stacks for extra punch, then instantly draining remaining Venom to force extra Burst procs.

What makes her more than “just another Electric DPS” is the team value: marked enemies take Electric/Physical hits with DEF ignore that scales harder the more Energy Regen you build, plus her Ultimate opens an Ether Veil crit-damage window for everyone. She shines in Shiyu Defense boss floors and Hollow Zero wave rooms—anywhere long uptime and repeatable procs beat one-and-done stun bursts. She slots best beside Electric or Physical carries that love a persistent debuff engine.

Alongside the new debut banners, two popular S-Rank Agents are returning:

New W-Engines & Bangboo

Serpentine Seeker

Increases CRIT Rate by 25%. When the equipper consumes at least 20 Energy in a single instance, for every 20 Energy consumed, gain a buff for 3s: Ignore 30% of the target's DEF when dealing Electric DMG. Gaining this buff again extends the duration, up to a maximum of 30s. When entering combat, gain this buff for 10s. When the equipper is not the active character on-field, the buff duration does not decrease.

Neon Fantasies

Increases the equipper's Anomaly Proficiency by 90 points. When the equipper deals Ether attribute DMG with [EX Special Attack] or [Basic Attack], the whole squad's DMG dealt increases by 15% for 40s. Max 2 stacks. Can trigger once per use of a skill. Repeated triggers reset the duration. When at 2 stacks, the equipper's Anomaly Proficiency is further increased by 60. Only one instance of this effect can exist in the same squad.

New Drive Discs

Bunny in Wonderland	HP +10%	[Defense] When equipped by a character: When the equipper activates an [EX Special Attack] or any squad member activates a [Defensive Assist] or [Evasive Assist], DMG dealt by all squad members increases by 6%, stacking up to 3 times and lasting 25s. Stacks decay one layer at a time. Duration is refreshed when gaining or losing stacks. Passive effects of the same name do not stack.

New Events

• A Scorching Quest for Fresh Flavors - HotPot Event

【Eligibility】

Inter-Knot Level ≥ 20, and complete the main story Chapter 1 · Interlude to participate.

【Event Details】

After the event starts, Proxies can head to the Zhu Fu Hot Pot shop in Lumina Square to take part. Together with Nangong Yu, help improve the soup base and ingredients, win the showdown against the gourmet Stephen, and restore normal business.

It’s recommended to participate after completing Main Story Season 2 Chapter 8 “Heroes Do Not Die in the Past” for the best experience.

 

• Deadly Assault New Changes

i. Discordant Solo - Vesper

Deadly Assault Stage Buff

The Agent's Anomaly Buildup increases by 15% and Anomaly DMG by 30%. When an Agent is in Ether Veil during battle, the Discordant Solo Stun DMG Multiplier increases by 30%. 

ii. New Deadly Assault Boss: Sanguine Sweeper

Weakness：Electric，Ether

Resistance：Fire

iii. New Statas

• Raging Storm > Storm Blade

DMG Dealt by Agent's Special Attack, EX Special Attack and Ultimates increased by 30%.
When EX Special Attack or Ultimate hits an enemy, the Agent's CRIT DMG increases by 30% for 20s and the enemy's DEF is reduced by 15% for 15s. Repeated triggers refresh the duration.

• Mutation > TBD

After an Agent triggers an Attribute Anomaly on an enemy, the target's Stun Recovery Speed reduces by 15% for 20s. Repeated triggers refresh the duration.
When an enemy is Stunned, all squad members recover 20 Energy and the DMG dealt by Attribute Anomalies increases by 40% for 30s. Repeated triggers refresh the duration. The energy recovery effect can only trigger once every 30s.

• Meditation > Heartcrusher

Agent's CRIT DMG increases by 30%.
Agents with the Attack Specialty have their ATK increased by 10% and their Basic Attack DMG increases by 30% and ignores 15% of DEF when hitting enemies.
